They don't file for autism because those suits have been found to lack merit and the lawyers don't get paid if they file such lawsuits.

Why is it that people don't become autistic later on in life? and I know there are a couple of rare cases that some people try to use as evidence for adult developed autism but they are more linked to brain damage caused by strokes etc. and only resemble autism on a symptomatic level.

Her 18 yr old won but he has the functioning of a 9 month old baby-so not quite a win, better than nothing. @sweetalker79 Hannah Poling was the first case to have compensation given by the courts, and not have the matter settled out of court like it usually is by families that could not even dream of going against the companies making the vaccine (and politicians that protect them) Julia Shawn was another that I know of. Most clients are advised to keep words like "autism" out of their fights, most of them are focused on their own fight rather than informing the public

Quite the contrary it said that her condition was the result of a mitochondrial disorder which was plausibly affected, not scientifically proven. I have not heard of Julia Shawn, nor does google return any hits. At any rate, science is not completed in the courtroom. They don't file for autism because those suits have been found to lack merit and the lawyers don't get paid if they file such lawsuits.

If it causes Autism in some people and another disease in somebody else then it still doesn't make it good, regardless of how courts label the cases.
