  • O.K. now I'm just bawling!! :(

  • I have been wanting to get into Animal Rescue work for quite some time but I have no idea where to start.. any help or info would be greatly appreciated, I am 26 and I live in Pennsylvania

  • @mxangel93 try to contact ASPCA and your local shelter. Ask them and they will guide you in the right direction

  • ALF..? :)

Or, you could start simple and volunteer at shelters, foster rescued animals, donate, things like that,

maybe even work your way to get on the SPCA

  • At the moment we have 2 cats ( 1 of them is rescued) and a dog who was rescued. Our previous dog was rescued but we got him put down coz his back legs collapsed due to old age :( R.I.P. When I am older and I mean in my sixties, i will rescue as many pets as i possibly can. at night i put cat food out for the strays. I try to help as much as possible as this is so sad :(

  • Until there are no more homeless pets being killed in shelters, I'll continue to adopt and rescue all of my pets <3 Great video!

  • how do people actually do things that cruel. These animals have a shorter life than us, and yet they can not make it good while it lasts. =(

  • This is a great video. It's so nice to hear stories about happy endings with animals :) Both of my cats started out as strays and now one is 16 and the other is 14 and both are healthy, happy, and have very well developed attitudes!!

  • OMG stabbed tht cat in the eye how cruel can you get its discusting i cant imagine doing tht to any animal its sick f***** sick if u ask me any cruelty to anything and anyone shud stop full stop rite hear rite NOW.

  • This a great compilation of the hard work you have done to save animals, I hope it inspires others to do the same.

    Sweet Irene is so happy!

  • Saint Colleen, your heart is gold and you are a wonderful person!! Thanks for all you do! Joni

  • Davy Jones still stands on his hind legs and reaches for us when we come home. He loves people and is clearly grateful for having been rescued.

  • This video is heartwarming, please take the time to watch it. Colleen spends hours of her free time to be sure these animal are well cared for and adopted out to great homes.

  • Great job, Colleen. Maxwell is so cute and the white kitty looks just like my Zoomer did when she was a young lady. She is 17 now. What a lovely tribute to rescue and those who adopt.

  • You are absolutely right. Unfortunately, we can not control what size the animals are when we get them, but our vet works with us to place the animals on a proper diet. Our hefty guys (like Neville) eat Wellness weight control formula. We also have the opposite problem with my own dog. She will not gain and had to be placed on a high energy formula. The vet says she is now at a healthy weight, so we are greatful.:) Maintaining a healthy weight is an important part of responsible pet ownership!

  • I just realized I spelled grateful wrong...that was a typing error, not a spelling error, I swear! :)

  • This is a beautiful video and I am so thankful for all who have adopted rescued animals and for the rescuers themselves. Where would all these animals be without them. I just want to mention though that many of these animals looked obese. Overfeeding your animal is also a form of abuse so I would just caution people to be careful about feeding. I know we want to shower as much love on our rescues as we can, but there are many other ways to do that besides food.

  • Thanks for watching!
