  • I know that it was used on a dual mount, but were foot soldiers also given a tripod it longer legs so they could use the MG 34 as a makeshift AA gun in the field?

  • @tullyDT There was a single stem adapter that attached to this mount for AA mode. There was also a seperate AA mount for that use only.

  • see kids, pay attention in school and get a good job, and just look at all the great toys you get to play with as an adult

  • Dear santa...

  • How much does the ammo usually cost for that?

  • this is a finely made Machine Gun. i've seen a couple of those in Yugoslav Partisan films, used by both the Germans and a couple of Yugoslav Partisans who captured and used those Machine Guns. every captured MG34 and the later and better MG42 was a great prize for the Partisans, it greatly improved the firepower of any unit.

  • What calibre is this gun? I'm guessing 7.95mm like other German MGs of that era, but I just wanted to be sure.

  • @Crazylegs973 7.92x57mm or also called 8mm mauser.

  • @C2builder I meant to type 7.92mm. I kind of had a feeling it would be a calibre similar to others used in Germany at that time. Thanks!

  • @Crazylegs973 7.92 not a 7.62 ? Just outta curiosity

  • C2builder, I really like your videos. They have great quality and good angles. I have to congratulate you on creating another amazing film. Well done!

  • If I remember correctly mg34 had also changeable barrel like mg42. So how did you change 34s barrel, i know that 42 changes from the side but how about his

  • Wow! Almost felt like I was playing Red Orchestra! Nice job. :-)

  • Great video! I love these "Maschinengewehr" things. Especially MG34 and the mighty MG42!

BTW, the internet told me the MG34 has a lot of jamming problems, are they really have a jamming problem?

  • @RuHartnett The MG34 was very well made, maybe too well made and not really good in harsh combat conditions like the Sahara or the Russian Front. But, if kept clean and well lubricated it performed its job extremely well. Just ask all the WW2 vets that encountered it. Before the MG42 this is the MG they feared.

  • Yeah, that's your general run of the mill general purpose machine gun alright.

  • what round does this fire?

  • @hobojakobo 7.92x57mm Mauser

  • looks like a stable recoil indeed

  • World's most beautifully crafted piece of machinery. The finest machine gun Ever built.

  • I love how fast the German WW2 machine guns fired. MG42 was great, but the Americans did have the Browning 50. Thats alot of stopping power!

  • lol Im deaf now

  • Were these used on the German Panzers in WW2? Oh by the way i subscribed- Great videos!

  • @nstar247 Yes they were, from 1934 up to 1945. They were never really replaced by the MG42. Thanks.

  • @C2builder Nice Video, what differences are there between the MG42 and the MG34? thanks

  • @TheXxVIP3RxX for one thing. theirs a dual trigger for the 34. not on the 42. the dual trigger lets you fire semi-auto while the 2nd part of the trigger will make it fire full auto.

  • I dont think anyone could build a weapon so efective like mg42

  • This thing HURTS my ears if my buddy shoots it... an MG42 that is then but shit, i wonder how not all germans went dam deaf of the thing

  • wow i love your videos

  • Nothing to mess with. Hit 5 times before you can fall down.

  • I want this for my birthday!!!

  • oh god! D: thats beastin on the battlefield!

  • Dear Santa...

  • If i ever meet you,I know not to piss you off

  • Those red primars look awesome

  • this is to short but I'm guessing at the rate he went through those bullets it probably cost him a bit in ammo.

  • i want one.

  • Firearms and beer...no one makes them better than the Germans.

  • that isnt a gun..... ITS A BEAST!

  • Isn't that gun a hell of a job to oil in..? the cleaning part..hehe. I hate that part of shooting.

  • Where do you honestly get this stuff from? You got enough toys to raise a private army with more bang that Blackwater.

  • You know what? I just watched TWO of your videos and I'm glad too say some of the best shooting demonstration videos ever. :]

  • your the first person i see on you tube to shoot for a long time. i always see others go semi auto.

  • SOOOO GLAD I WASNT IN WW2

  • did that gun come out in 1934? was it before the mg-42?

  • Why not aim it?

  • Orgasm for my eyes and my ears

  • it eats bullets for breakfast, dinner and launch

  • 1 person doesnt hav one :)

  • wot a lovely bit of kit

  • So what did the Germans do to make the MG42 fire so much faster then that thing?

  • These Germans are incredible...the best guns come from Germany, thats for sure

  • @Altreich1937 yeah ... they still never won the war though

  • I just came.

  • Good shooting of MG34 is first german machinegunner infantry Wehrmacht :D.

  • Wonderfull , THX , Isy

  • now thats how you make an mg if you compare it to the type 98

  • dear santa...

  • did you miss all your shots? xD

    nice vid :P

  • I appreciate you restoring history like this.

  • the cousin of hitlers buzzsaw

  • GOD DAMN that'll kill em!

  • wow this 1st period shot is pretty cool, i imagine thats what it'd look like for a german soldier

  • That thing just eats up those bullets

  • @legojoe12345 If you think the MG34 eats bulltes, you need to see the actual MG42s go :)

Nice video BTW. Tripods make a whole world of difference to any decent machinegun. Infantry having to attack such positions have their work cut out for them.

  • 0:07

I'm surprised something didn't get hung up or jammed.

  • Was this the kind of gun used by the gunner in the Ju-87 Stuka, the famous dive-bomber with the siren of World War II?

  • @fliegeroh No, this was a ground use gun only. You are thinking of the German MG-15 gun with the saddle drum magazine. Look at my videos of the Jap Type 98 gun it is the same as the MG-15.

  • @C2builder

I thaught that the German Gunners had to use an Mg-113? like in the He-111 Bombers?

  • @fliegeroh

two MG17 7.92mm machine guns (.312 in) in each wing and one MG15 7.92mm for defense

  • @ C2builder: In the most MG34 Videos here in youtube, the people had many jam`s with there Weapons. Is this a Problem from the Weapon or just bad using and cleaning ect ?

    Greetz from Germany

  • @dasSofa The MG34 parts on most guns you see videos of are getting old and the guns are wearing out. The MG34 is and has always been selective on what type ammo it likes and that is part of the problem as well. Some still run good and others are wearing out. Thanks.

  • Great video, its cool to see it from the gunners view.

  • The experimental mg34S shot 1700 rounds per minute! that's a ton of firepower!

  • BLITZKRIEG!!!

  • great video i love the mg34

  • i can watch it again and again 5***** jolly good ,as all your videos buddy , thanks for your effort !

  • @petrwarry72 yes and again again in 6 months LOL ★★★★★

  • how many rounds did you fire?

    75?

    great vid 5*

  • Hi, is that a MG34 tripod or Mg42 tripod? I am getting a semi auto mg34( I live in Cali) from TNW. They only sell MG3 tripods but have a adaptor. I like the trigger better on the originals. I found a WW2 German MG42, tripod but don't know how much would be involved to mount the 34 to it? It would be good to know before I blow $1000 on it. Any idea?

  • The MG34 tripod shown is original, made for the '34 and dated 1941. I have not seen any MG42 that will fit on the MG34 tripod, but yes, they do make a kit to fit the MG34 on a MG3 tripod. There is no difference between mountings on a MG42 and a MG3 tripod. I have one of each but prefer to use the MG3 for my MG42 only because the shock mountings are better quality and reduces the recoil better.

  • Using Romanian 8mm surplus! Excellent stuff, just wish it was as accurate as the 1970's Yugoslavian!

  • quality, get the 42 out !!!

  • awesome :D
