He's not gay. I think part of maroo's problem is he hates the guy because he comes from a low class background and now he's achieved stardom and rcognition for his talent. HE needs to get over himself because evryone deserves to rise up in life. I hope Sa'ad leaves this sort of trashy behavior behind him though. He's far too talented to do this. I agree that everyone deserves a chance. But if you know anything about arabic music and its history(not just belly dancing) you should know this dude has NO TALENT whatsoever. He has bad vocals, its obvious he knows nothing about music or the arabic maqamat, and the lyrics to his songs are dirty and do not make any sense. Now where exactly is the talent? Its because of people like him the word Shaabi is now synonomous with dirty.

i wouldn't dare compare this person to abdel wahab. I said Mohamed Roshdi, who is a legendary shaabi artist. But what this person is doing is nowhere close to "fan shaabi". Apparently all that matters to you is that "its fun to dance to". But as an Arab, and like the people below who left comments, I am very disappointed with the direction shaabi music is heading.
