My 80GB HDD also backs itself up wirelessly every hour to the 1TB time capsule that also backs up my Fathers Macbook and IMac. I don't need the super drive as i use the imac's drive when i need to install something, and how often do you use your optical drive now days anyway? my Last PC's dvd drive failed like a year before it became an inconvenience. Macbook air = win =)

People that do powerpoint/ keynote presentations for a living. It is a computer to just pull out and go. I don't think apples idea was to make it a "Main" computer. What are you talking about, Microsoft is simply backing up Toshiba's HD-DVD which actually predates Blu-Ray. Blu-Ray is actually the same technology as HD-DVD that Sony took and gave a new name in order to up the price and make more money.
