  • shut-up...shut-Up...just SHUT-UP !All of you !

  • In Quran Allah "God" said "I created the human being in struggle" so there is no such thing as happy 100% this life is ups and downs and if you are in the ups be greatfull and if you are in the downs be patient. this is it

  • @SIMPLEMAIL2004 The Buddhist said that in order to avoid suffering you must also avoid happiness.

They are like Yin and Yang and you can't have one without the other.

So it seems to only way to remain at peace is to avoid feeling anything, whether it be love, anger or happiness.

  • @Ignozi I think you cant avoid them but moderation is the way especially your anger and desires, read the the alchemy of happiness by al ghazali. He explained it quit well in his ancient famous book you can find his book easily in the internet.

  • For some, yes, money may very well be what they are indeed working for. We can be certain these people are left empty and restless no matter how much they acquire. Others however, seek to establish the sort of lifestyle that one is afforded when they have money. This means more mobility, geographically, socially, etc.

Why do you think one of the greatest poets of all time, Arthur Rimbaud, quit his impassioned, chaotic lifestyle, and studied business in the hopes of financial prosperity?

  • yes it is all about mo

  • it's all about money

when it all gets broken down

    money causes the stress

  • A family coping with one family member's terminal illness is "all about money"? An individual's search for meaning and purpose in her or his life is "all about money"? A college pre-Med or pre-Law student stressing about upcoming exams is not about money, nor can money alleviate that stress. Not everything is about money.

  • I agree that there are some other factors but all of which you mention are just momentary spikes in stress the straw for the camel, so to speak but let's take the illness one, it has the drag out factor can you afford the illness? can you afford the recovery? how many doctors make they're living studying this illness? has the government budgeted enough for the study of this illness? will your insurance policy recover from this illness? how long will this illness last??? should I pull the plug???
  • umm.. u are really not suppossed to take it THAT literally.. he means in most cases i guess.. and yes it is all about money or whatever piece of currency or anything that represents work, labor, power.. etc u get it

  • Agreed. I cannot argue with the fact that having a decent amount of money DOES make life easier and more pleasant (AND less stressful.)

  • the first one you listed is the only one not money related. An individual searching for purpose in ones life in this day and age is nearly all about money. What career should i pursue? which will make me the most money as well as being something I enjoy? A college pre-Med or Pre-Law student stressing about exams is really thinking about his or her future in this career. And why are they pursuing this career? to make a decent wage. I believe money is a vital source of the stress we undergo.

  • @paffer25 I completely agree!

  • @Davesfavutube wow....tests really? what a fake short term version of stress

  • @Davesfavutube not everything, but it does play a role. If you can comfortably afford education, food, bills, etc., it's much nicer than if you're stressed wondering how to pay for everything. Beyond that though, money doesn't provide happiness.

  • It is a large component because of the way our society is structured but there are certainly other stressors that contribute, such as Davesfavutube has stated.

  • not having money can also cause stress.. maybe even more stress.

  • part of my family has money, lots of it. We went through a very rough period and the emotional demands for lending us the money we needed were so high that for our own mental health we decided to sell everything , repay and resign the "help", solve the problems ourselves and be happy. The hard times continued financially but we were happy to know we can take decisions, solve problems, to be a support for each other , find out who our real friends are and most importantly respect ourselves.

  • @Shadizar666 absolutely not, not even what seems to be about money really is about money.

  • @philinmotion

must be nice to HAVE money

so as to not worry about it

  • @Shadizar666 well. then you'd worry about losing it.

  • @philinmotion

    you're trolling a master troll

    try again when you're better

  • @Shadizar666 Rich people have problems as well.

Perhaps even bigger than you or I would suspect.

  • @Ignozi

    care to elaborate?

  • @Shadizar666 Sure.I'll give you an example with my current neighbor who is a millionaire, living in a big mansion. He has received multiple death threats and has resorted to installing an expensive security system to guard not just his money but his family who are under the threat of being kidnapped for a huge ransom.

Now granted not all rich people are hated, but it seems like money does create problems for it's owners.

One without such money can't imagine having problems while being so rich.

  • @Ignozi

and this undercuts my argument... how?

  • @Shadizar666 Why do you assume I'm trying to undercut you?

Basically, the point I was trying to make is that money doesn't solve everything.

  • @Ignozi

and my point is that money causes stress
