I was not there but from all live Zeppelin that I have heard...Dallas 75 is the best
as far as US live shows in my opinion....and just my opinion, that's all. Check out, "Sick Again" from this show...awesome. I did get to see them in 77, in Cleveland at the old Richfield Coliseum
@kenoz71 I think you're exaggerating, I think the show a few pass by him as the 02-12, 02-14, 03-19 or the 2-16, 03-12 or 03-25 may be the .. (I hope you will come to recognize the concerts with the dates that I mentioned!)
don't say that - he was probably ill at the time or something. if you think he sucks on this one, listen to some other bootlegs from 1977 or the one from knebworth '79, 2nd night. now that was shitty bad.
YouTube continues to by my favorite sight... where else can you re-live my favorite shows from back in the day... Thanks for all who post such great things on YouTube!!!
I believe it. If you listen to Them Crooked Vultures, you can hear what influence Jones has on that band and then hear from it how much of an influence he really did have on Led Zeppelin. Without Jones, Zeppelin wouldn't be the same. No doubt they'd be a good band. But with Jones they became a monster of a band!
led zeppelin absolutely rock for all time!!!!! this song is just so coool!! it leaves me tingling!!!! there are no words for this song....its just pure rock!!!!!
i love led zeppelin, from all the vids and song i've heard them play, the songs are split up to put 1 instrument in the spot light, (Jones here) its seems fair to me.

Roger Staubach came on stage during "Immigrant Song" and threw the football to Jimmy Page. Page dropped the ball and the crowd started booing.

Jonesy is the only member who has the mind of a conductor. He is definitely the thread and needle of the band's success.

Yet again Jonesy proves he's the best musician in a group full of amazing musicians. Though he outclasses Pagey sooo much here. And I like Jimmy.
