COUNTRY Johnny Mathis passed away from complications from pneumonia. Not to be confused with the greatest singer in the world Johnny Mathis of Misty, Chances Are, It's Not For Me To Say (I could go on and on) fame. Mr. John Royce Mathis is still going strong and sounds wonderful! Check out his concert schedule and try to get to one :)
OMG, I am shocked. He started when I was in the US Navy back in 1955. I remember being out at sea, and listening to the song "the twelfeth of Never. I still have most of his records, and still play them. RIP Johnny Mathis. You were always a joy and a pleasure to listen to.
