  • You're even better than Explosions In The Sky. Definitely more relaxing. :)

  • I feel the certain urge to listen to dire straights all of sudden

  • It was a blessed day when i discovered your music andy othling. Soundtrack for my life.

  • I really admire your music great sounds from there

  • @1088musicwonder thank you!

  • @tubescreamer yw no problem :)

  • FUCKING SUPERB!!!!

  • who can dislike this??? Dude you're awesome!

  • @Guitar1919Master A talentless loser sourgrape I pressume...XD

  • @bigbutlittlebrother why don't you make some of this if you are so good??

  • @Guitar1919Master I mean the guy who would dislike this vid is a talentless loser sourgrape...XD you misunderstand... we're at the same phase...

  • @bigbutlittlebrother oh yeah... sorry, i didn't read that comment right! :">

  • God, how do I love Ambient...

You are a master of the sounds of our souls... This is a piece of a real art, like a wind, like a sky, and when I hear this, I just want to cry...

    Who is that one eretic?

  • Im hypnotized

  • what soundcard/audio interface u use?

  • boomerang or dl-4? which one do you prefer? what do you get out of each one. your music is great, by the way.

  • that top-end voice is really cool...how'd you do that?

  • there are days where u listen to the same songs for more than maybe ten times!! today i had this one to do so!!:) i really enjoyed its beauty! thx and carry on

  • LOOK AT MY VIDS THEY ARE SHORT AND NOT AS DEVELOPED. WE SHOULD JAM SOMETIME.

  • The Boomerang is an amazing pedal. I use a Line 6 M13 and it has a great looper on it but limited looping time. The one thing i love about the M13 is you can use a reverse delay and use the looper at the same time which i dont think you can do on the Boomerang, You have to bypass mute the loops on a Boomerang to do the reverse function right?

  • your work is great why dont you solve the problem of noise you have in your tracks , i was at your site listening and they all have same problem

  • That was fucking amazing.

  • this is outstanding music haha!! i absolutely love it!! :)

  • Hey, ive been listening to this for a long time..probably my favorite youtube video.. I was wondering what tuning you used to play this piece. If you dont mind, id like to cover it, just for sh*ts and giggles. Im a guitar player myself and i play mostly acoustic, and id like to see what i can do with this piece.

  • That was incredible.

  • this is absolutely beautiful!!

  • the best tone, so fucking good

  • I came across this months ago. When I first heard it I teared up and even now. I don't know what it is, it doesn't make me feel sad or anything, it's just that there is just so much feeling.. Nicely done! Beautiful!

  • DAMN!!! LOOK AT ALL THAT SWEET GEAR!

  • respect again!!!

  • love it. finally a different approach to guitar! inspiration. also im fucking high. haha peace

  • This is a perfect ... my deep respect ....

  • dude what is your Telecaster Model?

  • @oglioko 2008 american standard

  • This is the theme from Batman!

  • Just one question, please: what pedal (effect) do u use at 3:07 to achieve a choir, human voice? Thank you!

  • @hesse13 I think that's mostly the Timefactor plus the RV-5.

  • hey , this is really inspiring , all your stuff is just ... AWESOME! , what type of loop pedal do you use ?

  • @kscoble12345 thank you... i use the boomerang iii

  • THIS is what the music is all about. Pure feelings... Inner world of ours...

It is such a shame that somebody like you is sitting in his room while some untalented teenagers are on stage and TV all the time. Such a shame... Still, I am happy I am not the only one and our kind still lives! Keep growing, my brother...

  • @hesse13 thanks man!

  • great song, I like so much =)

  • I'm glade i came across this video. this is one of the best loops i have seen.

  • Excellent, this reminds me very much of John Martyns "Small hours", well worth checking out if you haven't seen or heard it.

  • can we buy or download your music from somewhere? beautiful sound scapes mate. very organic and lush. what kind of tele is that?

  • You Are A TeleMaster.

  • Kinda reminds me of Spirit stallion of the Cameron

  • What a treat to watch this masterpiece constructed from scratch.

  • @AlphaX1980 thank you!

  • Poor Boomerang...

    all cold and alone

  • is that thing conected to nasa!

  • @zildjianchickenpie77 looks like he's controlling a spaceship

  • Do you notice a big difference when you combine the bluesky with the rv-5? and are you using plate shimmer on the bluesky?

    Thanks in advance

  • someone needs to find that one douce that disliked this song, great work!

  • This is a very moving piece

  • u must be tripping ..its ok i am tooo........

  • i notice you use the keeley in every video. what is it actually doing to your tone and is it 100 percent necessary for my rig?

  • This is really legit!

  • This one's my favourite :) You've got some really great ideas man, I'm surprised none of your songs are in any movies yet, or are they?

  • WOW that's amazing!!!

  • Outstanding music !

  • @djangosfire Thank you!

  • Excellent work my friend, I listen to a lot of your tracks at work. They're very soothing in a high stress work environment, and they're of a nature that the other attorney's really can't complain about them. Keep up the great work.

  • Hi. You have Ernie Ball 6180 VP JR. Passive Volume Pedal?

  • tele + slide + reverb = bliss

  • i want to be a shredder and masturbate my guitar every night till i found this guy

  • how do you learn to play like that? i want to play like you

  • if i could choose a soundtrack to my life, it would be your ambient songs... Purly true and amazing talent here. great job man.

  • @tubester581 Thanks man, that means a lot!

  • I shoegaze too sometimes, and its just wayy too easy to get lost on loops and this heavenly layers of godly sound

  • I used to have trouble getting to sleep at night, but with this I can drift off so easily. Thank you so much. This is beautiful.

  • Hey,

Are you going to get the Eventide Space?

  • Hey!

i am about to get my first "real" amp, i play a lot of post rock and i was thinking about getting a Vox ac30c1, does it get a distorted sound at high volumes? because i really want a clean sound but i cant afford a fender twin like yours. It'd be cool if you could send me some advice.

    Thanks!

And by the way, awesome songs man, congratulations (sorry for my crappy english)

  • @santander21 the vox amps generally have a 'boutique' clean. which is slightly over driven. you ideally should get something with the 'fender clean' with no overdrive at all on the clean channel. there is the Fender Vintage modern which is around 450 Uk pounds, and the amp which is use, the Blackstar HT 40. it has amazing fender clean, boutique clean (slight overdrive) overdrive one, and overdrive 2. brilliant amp, fairly large and weighty. also there is the 20 watt version and a 60 Watt version

  • you make me want to spend all my money on pedals

  • AWESOME...

  • Adding the slide was a really nice touch! =)

  • wow great lot of pedals and effects! very nice song

  • Beautiful arrangement! Your music has really inspired me lately! I'll upload an ambient song of my own soon, to contrast with some of my latest (more metal oriented) uploads.

Keep up the good work! I'll stay tuned for sure =D

  • This is wonderful.

  • @metalcore929 thanks man!

  • nice

  • What settings were you using on the bluesky and rv 5?

    Thanks!

  • @stul9045 plate on blueSky, modulate on rv-5

  • 1 word

    beautiful....

  • You never fail to blow my mind man.

  • you should look into a boss re-20, that and my dmm and my rv-3 r ambient heaven. and definetly great with a dmm

  • There's something I like to do every New Year. I find a beautiful song, and where ever I am when the clock strikes, I'll go into my one world, sometimes with someone special, and listen to that song as my first song that year. I think I found what will see me into 2011. Thank you.

  • This is my favorite yet... I love the Strymon and the Memory Man mixed... such a great sound.

  • i can fall asleep to this lol...very nice!

  • i really think the good lord above has gifted you with this beautiful creative ability that is expressed through your music. i love it!

  • Each time I've listened to this I've not watched it. However, this time I really watched your feet. You're really familiar with your rig, which is something that's pretty impressive. How much time do you spend practicing? How much time do you spend working out settings?

Also, how much time does it take to get to the point of playing this in 'one take' in front of a camera? I can't imagine you simply sit down and play this in one shot - do you practice it for long?

  • @jmkokura I wish I spent more time practicing. I do like to think that I know my rig very well, I feel like I have to in order to justify it (my rig, that is). And I probably went through this song twice before recording it. That includes "writing" time.

Thanks for taking the time to listen. :)

  • great sounds, layering, vibe, etc.

you have sold me on the boomerang III completely!

i look forward to the next demo of the free play mode as well.

  • You really do not know how glad I am that you actually sit down and record these songs for us.

Really puts me in a wonderful relaxed mood.

    Thank you sir

  • Awesome! Thanks for sharing with us so many aspects of your musical endeavors.

Do you have any sponsors yet to help pay for future gear? ;-)

  • @emeraldandsapphire not yet! :)

  • This seems kinda difficult good job dude!

  • Incredible. I have a question. My current setup is a gibson SG, american strat, running through a mesa boogie express. I have a line 6 dl4 and thats it. To get the sound you use I love playing this type of music) what pedals should I shoot for first?

  • Comment removed

  • That was bad ass.

  • can you play metal on that rig or what i wont to see it done ill tell every body if you do

  • @elsega12 Just run a distorted tube amp and you can play metal with any rig.

  • unbelievably good

  • To my mind the best of yours... I've never heard something this deep. I'm almost crying because this song reminds me of all kind of memories...

  • This shit rocks.

  • Excellent song man! I loved the volume fade-out at the end... very very well done.

  • I see an old Deluxe Memory Man. How do you like it? Have you gotten anything else. new? Loving the song Andy!

  • have you ever played through a carr amp?.....they are so awesome....prolly the best clean tone i have ever heard

  • some of your best work.....is that an original 65 twin or the reissue?

  • @ihaveaverybadcold It's an original with a 15" speaker instead of 2-10"'s.

  • love the slide

  • One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Well done :)

  • @VexooxeV thank you!

  • @tubescreamer What are the chords of the line beginning at 0:33 ? They sound absolutely beautiful !!

  • Hey Tubescreamer, What did you replace the dl4 with?

  • @psychocreep73 mainly the boomerang, since i was only using it for looping.

  • Beautiful!!!! Never felt so much peace in 6 minutes and 57 seconds... :0)

  • Excellent work man! I absolutely love this one! You never cease to amaze me man.

  • Lovely.

  • @chuckelmore you are!

  • One of your best Ambient songs in awhile. I love the use of the slide and your bass add. Did your POG give you the bass on this one? I am enjoying the POG2 with the organ sounds it can make. God bless!

  • @DavidSavedbyGrace thanks! i used the micro pog for bass on the second phrase.

  • Hey tubescreamer What HAPPENED with the LINE 6 DL4???

  • @JesusWorship7 replaced!

  • @JesusWorship7 really and do you recomend me the Line 6 dl4 for delay ?

  • @JesusWorship7 yeah it's a good delay... i'd probably still have it if it would loop in stereo.

  • @tubescreamer And do you recomend me the line6 dl4 over the Tc nova Repeater Delay?

  • @JesusWorship7 i have zero experience with the repeater, so i don't really know.

  • this is brilliant.

  • are you a porcupine tree fan at all ?

  • @tjglasson i've heard a few songs, but not really

  • Cool... Reminds me of some of Ray lamontagne's more ambient pieces. Especially the slide guitar combined w/ the volume pedal.

  • One day after posting and he has 1200 hits......nice work people.

You rock dude. Have a good Thanksgiving!

  • nice tones, well done.

the Boomerang sounds great. are your happy with it? Im planing to get one if I ever can afford it.

  • @smnewthtrblnmnd yes, very happy with it, it's a really great pedal.

  • Melodically, I think this is your most satisfying and fulfilling composition. Your tone is absolutely gorgeous.

  • @jsmoove888 thank you!

  • Yaaaaaay, you got a DMM. I've been ultra GASing for one for ages.

  • very beautiful. Are you mabey inspired of coldplay in your backhead?

  • great one andy

  • Amazing. I'm mesmerized.

  • You're an inspiration to us all! Looking very forward to your upcoming album

  • Thanks a lot, Andy! Your beautiful music takes me on a journey beyond this world, it's incredible! thanks again

  • so far no dislikes guys keep it that way!!!

  • hey, nice work andy, as always.... u change your pedalboard again !!!! .... what re the changes ? ...

  • yay slide! i love it, thanks for sharing andy :)

  • Wow, this is brilliant, Andy!

    Cheers

  • board changed again! how do you like the DMM?

  • Wow, your tuner seems to follow the slide parts very well. What is the model? BTW, great job.

  • @cowboytonydee thanks! it's the planet waves tuner.

  • I love the slide work. A++

  • Do you play all of your song in standard E tunning?

  • @WojtekRamone yes. i believe one song was in drop D though

  • I'm a big fan. Despite my tasteless shred/fusion YouTube vids, I'm a big fan of this style. Which pedal would you say is the most crucial, in this sound? If you were trying to play ambient, which would you buy first? I'm asking this as a technical question - I've got lots of pedals.

  • @SteveHubbardGuitar thank you... i'd say that really any delay or reverb pedal is a step in the right direction... just crank the repeats and decay

  • Awesome....

  • is that memory man one of the reissues or is it really old? It looks in pretty good condition

  • it is like Pink Floyd song. nice job dude.congrats.

  • Great stuff man, really inspiring and thought provoking.

  • New pedalboard?

    really good music!

  • love your songs mate! But maybe you should do something again with a sample of text? Thats always interesting to work with. isn't it?

  • bet Marshall sleeps well to all this nice music

  • a master at work

  • Awesome new Ambient...You changed your pedal board? You should do a new pedal board setup vid..

  • So beautiful

  • One of my faves so far!!!

  • Loving the sound of the Memory Man. Great addition to your delay family.

  • oh cool! you can change loops while you have one backing loop going? i have to get me a boomerang!

great song man, and you came up with this just today? you're an inspiration. i wish i could hug you c:

  • @mikeyfatstrings yep, that's one of the ways to use the boomerang. really great pedal! and thank you :)

  • I just feel all butterfly....ey! Its so impressive the stuff you come up with. Keep it up dude.l
