  • None...none!...none? 'cept me...!

  • @universeandi lol I never saw it like that u made me laugh thanks

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah....NO ELMO.....:)

  • @skingerskanger FUCK ELMO!!!

  • Does the open mouth effect during the pauses somehow increase the value of this sketch? Some... Open Mouth Like on Que. I am lost exactly how that translates respectfully

  • @derocket88 You ever pose for a photo and make a big stupid exaggerated smile? Think of it like that.

  • I had this song in my head for the longest time, years and years. I knew it was from Sesame Street but I couldn't remember what sketch. Thanks for posting this, because it is one thousand percent awesome.

    NONE!

  • 13 people showed up when none of us were here.

  • Still one of my favorite sesame street vids EVER.

  • I was always wondering who the monster was at :59....the one next to Cookie Monster. It was SCARY. I love Old School Sesame Street....It Rocks!! Thanks for the post.

  • I was around 4 or 5 when they'd show this. cute. forgot about it, but I sure remember the music.

  • This is the Mahna Mahna guy with eyes, right?

  • Watching this makes me feel old. I remember watching this when I was little.

  • @chebedu Dont feel old... you are wiser... and young at heart... as I am

  • @alexgpasco I know. I have been watching and it makes me laugh.

  • I agree kataisa3.

  • The 13 people who hated this video are the opposite of cool.

  • @kataisa3 They're not just the opposite of cool, they are completely devoid of any brain matter and have no clue what excellent is.

  • Philosophically deep: "None of us are here" :)

  • MUPPET MOSH PIT!

  • Yeah this guy was kinda scarry to me.....YIKES!!

  • some.....none. looooooooooooool

  • Do you guys think it was funny when they did a little reference of this song in the last Powerpuff Girls episode? The Narrator described some of the Townsville villains just like 1:20-1:27, then one of the villains said "One of us is not here!" just like Bip Bippadotta! Try & catch it.

  • Aw, Guy Smiley and Prairie Dawn are Bip's cousins. Big family, eh?

  • What is that monster next to Cookie at the begining??? It's FREAKY looking and scared me when I was little.

  • @33chiliken, It's Herry Monster.

  • I'm not talking about Herry Monster. Herry was blue. This one looks like some kind of Bug Monster.

  • What the hell is Cookie Monster smoking at the very start of this video?.

  • That doggone Jim Henson, baby!!! LOVED THIS growing up!!

  • Brak would've been AWESOME HERE!

  • LOL!!! I love how his hair bounces when he runs :-D

  • BIP IS THE BEST!!!

  • Cookie Monster hamming it up lol

  • @Blondiegreeneyes72 guy smiley as well.

  • i love when that bald orange guy is at the camera smiling :D

  • OMG!!! When the monsters come out, and he's like, "All of the furry ones and all of the fuzzy ones and all of the scary ones and all of the hairy ones...etc..."

They did that in the "Power Puff Girls" Rulez special when all of the villains were running about trying to get the key to the city!

    AH! XD Awesome reference!!! ^^

  • ya it does look similar

  • Yeah! I emailed thecreator of the PPG and I asked him if they were referencing this skit, in that scene he said they were! ^u^

  • The classic Sesame Street shows (1969-85) were the best. I tried to watch the new eps and I just can't get into it. It's too PC now and lacks the soul and heart of previous generations, plus the new muppet voices ruin it for me. Bert no longer sounds like the Bert I grew up watching.

  • I agree. He sounds like Squidward.

  • LOL...I love it! I had to stop watching this for a while but I'm back!

  • I notice something new every time I watch this. Check out Herry doing some head banging at 1:26! LOL!!

  • Comment removed

  • I like Guy Smiley

  • Lmao. Muppet Mosh Pit.

  • I don't know, man... anyone who says "none of us are here" is probably not being entirely truthful! lol

  • Got to love the music playing. Very peppy. I don't hear music like this on children's programs anymore. Very sad.

  • I've always wondered what that monster at 1:00 was. It always CREEPED me out. He was kinda scary when I was little.

  • PMSL!!! Cookie Monster at 1:05 1:07!!

Totally hilarious! I piss my pants everytime I see this!

I remember this when I was a kid in the 70's!

Bip always made me laugh and frazzle too!

    Luv those classic monsters!

  • Yes! I also love the Cookie / Bip synchronized zig-zag at 1:06. Also love Cookie's huge close-up smile at 1:11! Heh heh. This rocks.

  • Yes- the way they did that was to have each person operating two puppets......one on each hand........that way both could be moved at once.

  • AWESOME STUFF!!----I havent seen this since I was a Tot!!

  • I dig how they look into the camera and open their mouths...classic Jim Henson!!!

  • Jim Henson was pure genius. He will be sadly missed...

  • There was only one Muppet King Jim Henson- He was a visionary- May he always rest in peace in heaven.

  • Do you remember Frannie and Puppet Goriddle Gorilla from The Great Space Coaster?

  • Can't stop watching this....hilarious. Check how Guy Smiley has to hurry and get out of the scene at :50.

  • I remember this!!!

  • Many say this scared them. I see why, but me, I LOVED the end when Bip bumped into the camera! We don't know why they had him do that, but for me, that was one reason I liked that part so much. Gave us something to think about.

  • Clip 1:05-1:07....Either you have the talent or you don't....Brilliant!

  • This is the one skit that I can vividly remember from Sesame...my sons can't stop giggling when he watches it:)

  • I really like this song, and I wish it was on some CD somewhere.Joe Raposo is truly one of my favorite composers. According to Muppet Wikia, this song is called "None Some All"

  • ahhhh this was scary to me when i was a kid

  • Anything with Bip terrified me as a kid. Him and Mah Na Mah Na.

  • LOVE the double-take Cookie Monster does at 1:06!!! Watch for it...

  • So funny...I watched this about 50 times before someone pointed out that Cookie & Bip do a synchronized zig-zag at that part!! Now it's even funnier to me! Just gets more hilarious every time I watch. :-)

  • Actually, at the 1:11 mark, I like the way that Cookie Monster has his mouth gaping wide open and his eyes 'bulging out.' Looks hilarious, but then again, I have always been fond of Cookie!

  • That's some boogie down shit

  • This is one my favorite. IT is so cute and funny

  • OMG, I suddenly started thinking about this song in the shower so I had to find it. Youtube: Best Encyclopedia evar

  • I wonder if Bip is a Monster or a "regular humanoid muppet"? He seems to have green fur..or is that a vest coat?

I think he may be some sort of hybrid.

    inside voice:...im way overthinking this......

  • I remember both some and none of this video from my childhood.

  • You are hilarious!

  • This video is no longer available?!? Meh, this was my favorite! I'm so bummed.

  • Wait, it's back again! Cool. :)

  • Very existentialist - none of us are here, some of us are here

  • Never thought of it that way. Very cool.

  • I wasn't aware that Guy Smiley and Bip were related. LOL!!

  • Come to think of it I wasn't aware that Prarie Dawn and Bip were related either.

  • Classic! This used to give me giggle fits when I was a kid. I prefer the older bits from Sesame Street.

  • According to my parents, this made me belly-laugh about 30 years ago.

  • LOL...you and me both

  • I like U cause U always point out the smallest stuff that makes it so funny.

  • LOL...I'm weird like that.

  • You can kinda see Hensons head in the last part.

  • Does it look like Guy Smiley has to run really fast to get out of the scene at :50? LOL

  • Yes, I love how he zooms out of the screen! Heh.

  • I like U cause U always point out the smallest stuff that makes it so funny.

  • Guy Smiley hauls ass to make it in time for "None".

  • LOL!!

  • Watch Bip and Cookie Monster do the double back at 1:05. LMMFAO!!!!!

  • LOL!!!! Oh my goodness that is hilarious!!!!!!

  • I agree..the synchro is funnier than hell.

  • OMG! I always loved Cookie Monster's zigzag, but I never noticed that him & Bip BOTH did it! That's hilarious. LOL!!

  • @havensmayor OMG, I can't stopr replaying that now. I'm crying from laughing so hard!

  • Bip was my childhood nightmare, but now I like him.

  • When I think of Sesame Street, "This" is the first thing that I think of. This and the Ladybug Picnic.

  • I hope this clip should be in the Sesame Video Web Player.

  • I agree. Especially some more of the rare clips, and a lot of the ones that were up here in 2006 that never got re uploaded.

  • I love how they start circle dancing (at 00:31) like they're in a punk show! Freaking awesome! I'm so nostalgic! Thanks for the video!

  • This is the ultimate Sesame! I was right back into the 70's watching this. Now I can show people what goes through my mind :O

  • Thanks so much!!! I loved this one!!

  • I like the cameo appearance of Guy Smiley!!

  • (00:33) Is that a mosh pit? Wow, Sesame Street works on so many levels!!!

  • I guess since this was the 70's it would be more like slam-dancing. Love the way all the Muppets mug for the camera in time with the music.

  • Yes, THANK YOU! I prefer the term 'slam dancing' as well. I just used 'mosh' to appeal to the younger generation. Punk will NEVER be dead thanks to skits like THESE! ;)

  • What a classic - thank u so much for posting

  • Great song, they don't write them like this anymore

  • so simple and yet so catchy, funny, and memorable. thanks for putting this video up!

  • He doesn't sound like Ernie, he sounds like Rowlf the dog. It is Jim Henson's voice anyway.

  • youre a genius cypher

  • anyone notice the red guy has the same voice as Ernie?

  • I remember this from when i was a kid! Still hilarious and i am now 37! I wish sesame street was still like it used 2 be instead of overly goody-goody and less sarcastically funny like it is now with the new lame way they do the show...do u remember the song 'garbage can shuffle' they used 2 do? funny!!!!!

  • Ah... Classic stuff!!

  • For some reason this guy used to scare the crap out of me! I remember running out of the room when this skit would pop on. I wanted to overcome my childhood fears so I searched for it...Hes not so scary....lol

  • This cracks me up every time! Cookie monster's zig zag at 1:05 is hilarious.

  • That is hilarious!!! Cookie Monster also has a funny close-up at 1:11, a little hop at 1:15 and he strikes a pose at 1:33. He had the best puppeteer! Brilliant. :)

  • classic stuff!!!

  • Anything with Guy Smiley kicks ass!

  • Heh, I love all the puppets running around. Great music! My sides hurt now...

  • the ending was scary...or creepy...or freaky...I can't decide which.

  • Try random.

  • LMAO cookie monster at 1.11!

  • HAHAHAHA!!

  • some of us are here - how existentialist! lol

  • One of my all time favorite sesame street clips!

  • This may have been asked already but is Bip Jim Henson?

  • Yep, that's him.

  • yes

  • I liked this one but even as a kid I thought it was weird that every time he said "some", the puppets would stop and open their mouths.

  • when I was a kid this one used to kill me! I couldnt stop laughing everytime they paused and opened their mouths. 'Near and far' was funny too. 'The golden AN' creeped me out though.

  • They were smiling.

  • We could take the sound from this video and put it with the clearer picture of this one!

    youtube[dot]com/watch?v=4M1FF-OhJvE

  • This is the coolest Sesame Street part I have ever seen. A big Thumbs Up for this one.

  • I could watch this over and over... actually, I do. The artfulness of the puppeteers is incredible - how much personality and sweet, silly energy comes through their hands & arms. Every time they all freeze, hilarity rises up in me, and by the end when it is just Bip with his big eyes, I have tears in my eyes from laughing. What a beautiful thing, the fact that people worked to create such pure FUN. Oh, and the music! Thank you, Bip!

  • Omg jimmy is sooooo cool

  • these puppets look so funny still after all these years. extremely cool!

  • cool!

hey can anyone help me out, im looking for a SS Classic animated clip about a little boy who invited his friends over for a party at his house while his parents were out. they made a big mess so he got reprimanded when his mom got home, but the scene ended with the mom kissing the kid. hope you can help me where to find it.

  • I think the one you are looking for is the one about Bumble Ardy and the swine he secretly invites to his birthday. Its on You Tube, search Sesame Street - Bumble Ardy's birthday nine

  • This is great!! I have not seen this since probably aroud 1979 when I was 8 years old. Can anyone post the (Near and Far) skit that is similar to this one??I looked for it here on utube but cant find it.

  • i could watch this continuously.

  • I still remember

  • We need the better quality of the song: Some of us are here"!

  • Me too.

  • Yay! The English version!

  • Watching this is as good as anything on TV these days

  • question. Does anyone else realise that he says his sister and brothers and cousins. If those are related to him how come none look like him?

  • ROFLMAO~ omg that is soooooo hilarious! NONE! SOME!

  • what has me cracking up is the fact that he says none of us are here.

  • 'cept me! lol

  • warning about muppet wiki people create an account there and all they will do is harrass you

  • Very true. I made an account there around Christmastime last year. My gift from them? On Christmas Eve, they permanently blocked me for asking "pointless questions". (Hey, I was new- new people tend to ask questions...)

  • ry talking to me?

  • yeah they're jerks talk to your internet provider they'll remove the block

  • my provider removed my block and deactivated my account because i didn't want to be harrased

  • they blocked me for editing the bip bipadotta article then harassed me because i wouldn't explain myself so i went to my internet provider and they took action for me

  • they also harassed me for not letting them boss me around

  • they try to be like wikipedia but they don't know the first thing about it

  • one of these days someome will shut them down

  • what do you mean, "harass"?

  • "what do you mean, "harass"?"

I mean they constantly sent me threatening emails letting me know if I didn't explain myself things would get a lot worse and this is when I went to msn and they took care of the situation for me. They removed the block for me and took all my information off the muppet wiki site.

  • Welcome back, first of all and second, they sound like a bunch of petty little children if you ask me. I hate cliques!

  • Born and raised at the invention of rap music and all that gangsta stuff and I sat here smiling just like a lil kid.

  • yep that is bip. I think bip is cooler but in fat cat sat hat he looks the best.

  • thank u

  • mahna mahna is on mostlyu the muppet show and he is in the original mahna mahna sketch on sesame street in 1969.

  • yeah but that's bip bipadotta right?

  • Jim Henson does the voice of Bip. It's the same tone as Rowlf the dog.

  • there is no mahna mahna puppet right? it's all bip bipadotta?

  • Does anyone know who did Bip's voice? Can't seem to find it anywhere

  • jim henson.

  • Thanks...always thought it was him but could never find anything to confirm or deny it

  • Does anyone know the year and episode this sketch was first aired? I tried Muppet Wiki but to no avail.

  • it would be there you didn't try hard enough

  • try putting the year om Muppet Wiki and they'll probably take you off it's like an exclusive little clique there

  • OMG THIS WAS HILARIOUS FAT CAT SAT is great too i love at SOME the happy face look cookie monster gives id like better sound though

  • LOVE IT! Still love it just as much as when I was a kid. Lol, "well, some of the shaggies, and some of the furries..." Henson's a genius.

  • None.... some..... None.... some......ALLLLLLL
