  • I LOVE PHI COLLINS!! First time I viewed this.....awesome! The interviewer was oh-so-easy on the eyes plus his voice was sexy! Having stated that it seems although Mr. Collins is still hurting over his last divorce which saddens me - such a wonderful person!!!

  • 3 people keep spending their extra waste of wanker's time clicking on "don't like"

    just pathetic...

  • I love him so much

all about my childhood listening to his songs in loop

  • if met him at a friend of phill he drives range rover sport

  • @1Nickyduncan I'm proud to be one.

  • @1Nickyduncan You have a brain like a tennis ball if you can't understand what a talent he is. Screw you.

  • He's best at drumming. I prefer that to his lead singer role & all of the leader, maestro, songwriter, front man. He nearly was at the level of Billy Cobham w/his Brand X fusion group. i'm not sure why he got involved w/Disney & all that crap. Genesis became poppy crap, not rock, not progressive rock, just pop group w/o Peter Gabriel & Steve Hackett. Pop doesn't work for me like rock and jazz/fusion does. Perhaps the west coast dollars were too attractive & his talent in other things stronger.

  • Great interview.

  • Let me tell you - Drummers always go with Rush's Tom Sawyer as a tough song to play, and it is. But you will build some great chops on Genesis Cinema Show. I love playing that song for myself, and Phil was a massive influence on me and probably a million other drummers.

  • "i think human nature is such that when you are a bit miserable

you put a miserable record on to get even more miserable." INDEED. love you, phil<3

  • Awesome! I envy Jian! He is an amazing interviewer, and he's interviewed quite a few very well-known famous actors and musicians. Very good watch! :)

  • Wow, brits cant get enough of Motown~!

  • I will NEVER get enough of ∞∞Phil Collins∞∞ A musical Giant & Legend that has no peer!

  • This douche bag interviewer sounds like the women from SNL skit Shwetty Balls!

  • @Bodebodango LOL. But he's great. He asks all the in-depth questions. Jian rocks!

  • Seldom do we see a performer with the wide spread talent of a Phil Collins.

  • so he is a man. u. fan... just another reason for me to love him!

  • @peaceman1234567 Real music, eh? I take it you're a professional musician then. When you have a quarter of the talent that he has, we'll talk. For now, take your "truthful" comments somewhere else. Nobody wants to read them.

  • Awesome interview with a brilliant artist! He has certainly graced this world with his presence and talent. Thank you PHIL!

  • @peaceman1234567 I don't understand your comment. Please explain.....

  • @peaceman1234567 Whoa! Brilliant response. Did you write that all by yourself? Excellent. You must be a very accomplished writer or commentator somewhere. If not, you're going places. Very impressive. Incredibly awesome. I am amazed at how outstanding that was. And, great way to live up to your YouTube name, Peaceman. I mean, if you were an ass, you would have said something simple like, "I'm not a fan". Which would totally explain why you stopped by to watch this.

  • @peaceman1234567 Yeah, you're right. He's the worst. He has seven Grammies, two Golden Globes, and has sold a quarter of a billion albums. He must be trash.

Glad you went out of your way to find this video and post such idiotic comments. Moron.

  • @Bang0r Take That sold milions of albums,so what dickhead? So what if he had seven Grannies,he`s old enough for `em the bald old twat haha. Its the content in the songs that separates real music from bland rubbish. He is like i said mainstream trash, bland. And btw,i happen to be watching the much more talented Robert Plant, saw old baldie Collins vid on the side and made my truthful comment.

  • @peaceman1234567 even Robert Plant said that Phil helped him start his solo career and regarded him as one of the greatest drummers.....so who the heck are you ?.....thats all bhainchod bhosodike

  • @peaceman1234567 think you are a trash.looks loki somebody kicked the peace out of ur life

  • @greatpcfan no,i`m chilled out actually mate,i prefer to listen to better music than Phill Collins. So sorry to hurt your music idol but i`m sure he wouldn`t give a toss so why should you get all het up about it?

  • @peaceman1234567 so whats ur "better music"

  • @greatpcfan Go suss it for yourself, much better than a lot of shopping mall music he does.

  • @peaceman1234567 You are a fucking moron!!!!!!

  • It comes across to me that Phil hasn't / doesn't like the spotlight but has a compulsive attraction to it.He didn't release the stuff, he's seems to despise now, that has made him successful by accident. He knew these songs would bring him fame & attention.Don't understand how he's so negative about the reaction of the 'pop' world & the haters that are part of that package.Where's his sense of humour.Comes across as a bitter, sad old man.Why doesn't he rejoice in the work he is proud of.

  • Phil, it might be carpel tunnel and if you do some wrist exercises it can get better. I just tried to attach the link but I can't seem to connect it. Here is title: video podcast - exercises for tendonitis and carpal tunnel

  • phil collins broke another genesis!!

  • @alstorp100 How? If he sucks and is as weak as everyone says he is (which is a group I'm not part of), Genesis can carry on without him, right?

  • @klwewf it was a refference -.-

  • I will say i grew up kinda hating phil mostly just like he said i herd his songs over and over and over again but that hate over time just made me wonder why people love him. It was no until i herd that most of his solo stuff was about his x-wife and it made me look at every thing he did and wow that is a heart brake i hope i never go though. "against all odds" has to be my fav song by his when he did the live ade solo of it in 85 you can really hear his pain. but what a good song.

  • Mentioning "Get 'Em Out by Friday" and comparing it's linkage to Motown was very interesting.

  • @ PhuckHue2 I never realized that he going through some health issues. Thanks for letting me known this! I was choke up reading your comment regrading his health. Hopefully he will recover and it is not too serious!

  • Great interview and nice to hear an old song like Get Em Out By Friday being mentioned with such affection.

  • @dalihendrix well said dalihendrix.Your username gives a very strong indication of the great guitarist. One of the originals,Jimi,R.I.P.

  • Soul searching interview reaching the darker deeper side to Phil. My first pop star crush that has haunted and stayed with me all my life. Inspirational talented musician whose lifes journey I will follow forever. x

  • Phil Collins... very intelligent, great insight and warm hearted. Phil has been focused from a very early age and passionate about music. What great attributes to

possess. Love that Phil Collins quality of sound and insight and how he expresses

    himself.

  • liked phil for donkeys years but i think since the stubble has gone grey he should take to shaving again... he does look a bit like a tramp at times, a rich tramp but nevertheless a tramp!!!!

  • interview Fantastic!

  • After years of creating unique and enjoyable music across many genres and seemingly tireless recording and touring that sacrificed all 3 of his marriages (at least to a degree), Phil deserves to do exactly and only that which he chooses. Enjoy whatever that is, Phil.

  • Fantastic interview with a good clued up interviewer for once! Phil Collins is a total GENIUS! JAI PHIL COLLINS!

  • @Yogiphildas are u indian?

  • great man and a brilliant interviewer, normally they don't know anything and ask daft questions but this is very in depth.

  • this man is cool

  • @ChiroQuacker -wow, sounds like he personally slighted you somewhere down the line. are you a family member?

  • ramener coeur de pirate s'il vous plaît:)

  • That interview certainly did not help to curb my relentless crush on Phil. What a wonderful interview. Love him!!!

  • Phil Collins richly deserves to do "nothing" after so many years of fantastic work.

    Thankyou !

  • wow I had no idea Phil was going through health problems. I just found out and I'm choked up. I've been a fan for 35 years. I own all the Brand X records also. I hope he gets better. one the greatest songwriter/musicians ever

  • Awesome interview!!! PC is a legend

  • Oh what a nice interview. Very interesting. Phil is an amazing person and musician. I adore him. (And is it just me or do his eyes look giant behind those glasses? O_O )
