A week? It;s an awful lot of work to just have to think about taking it all down a week later. I figure if I invest all of that, it ought to stay up a while.

They sure are but I live in an apartment and it's hard to lug a real one up all the time. I do love the smell of them though - nothing beats pure pine! :)

Too soon for me. Our local high school has a forestry program that grows and sells Christmas trees in a forest near my home. On Dec. 6 I'll be hiking out there to cut my tree, like I do every year. Maybe I'll make a video of it.

I had it figured this way. I am going out of town all next weekend for Thanksgiving. I won't want to do it after I come home from work, and I am going out of toen again week after next. If I didn't do it this weekend I'd only have it up a week or two before Christmas so I thought I'd enjoy it as much as I could.
