Did you use some extra light for a night shot ,because I have the same cam and is not as good pic under low light?

The Quality drops severely in low light. As one would expect.

It was the 1st time I had the camera out and I'm not sure if I had it set up right. I'm not much of a cameraman.. I'm a newb.. not to mention the software I used to edit the video may not have been the best and don't really know how to use it. There was very low light in the restaurant. I don't think this video shows off the ability of the camera... its a Sony HDR-XR200.. does the HG10 do 1080i?

blurry oh my HG10 is much much beter and its a 2 year old product Canon camcorder are the best
