I can't believe these still exist! There was a place called Action Park in Vernon Valley, NJ that had one of these back in the 80s. Theirs seemed much faster and more dangerous -like - if you pushed forward on the throttle stick the whole time, without question, you WERE going to go off the track at some point. They had lots of other dangerous rides there too. It ROCKED! Unfortunately, I think they were sued out of existence :( I remember numerous people meeting their demise at that park.
@bobsutube Wow, I didn't know it's out of business. They should rename it Jackass Park and have people sign a waver to get in. I remember stories of people getting stuck in the Tidal Wave pool and drowning. It scared me as a kid, but I still went in with an inflatable raft. It also was common to see people wipe out on the alpine slide, this is how the first death occurred. I hated getting behind a slow Alpine Slider.

tht was soo fun wen i did that !! i kinda got wiped out tho .... i fell off and got burns up my arms .... :/

hahaha I agree; I also fell off right on my face... Probably because I ignored all the slow signs but I rode it again after that cuz it was fun
