I am 19 and the majority of trance listeners at this age like the new style of trance.. those greasy and agressive saws.. in my opinion trance from nowadays is based on the transitions.. producers want to show their abilities taking the role of sound engineers.. but listen to this, it has a theme, all you hear is coming from heart.. these themes are still valid and very deep..

Back then you had to try really hard to get on vinyl, so naturally only the best got released. Theres just too much shit out there, and its going in a shit direction as well imo!

Those of you not familiar with Hooj Tunes (Hooj Choons) do yourself a favor and check 'em out....no longer a label, but put out some of the best trance in the mid-late 90s

WOW! I have had this mix on CD for almost 10 years. This is definatly my favorite Oakenfold mix by far. This brings back so many awesome memories for me.... The funny part is that when I was listening to it I noticed only a couple hundred people checked out every single part of it. Oakenfold just came out with a cd named perfecto vegas which reminded me alot of this mix, which is what made me check if it was on youtube.. Thanks for posting the entire mix.
