Hell yeah! Zanac Ex is still my favorite but Aleste was a close second. At least as far as the the vertical scrollers are concerned ^^

Classic game!! I had this on the Sega Master System but that version isn't as good as the MSX version (the MSX version has the intro and extended level at the beginning, the SMS version doesn't).

Aleste was one of the best vertical shooters on the MSX system. It's successor was even more difficult. It is only rivaled by Zanac Ex.

Man aleste was sooo much better as Zanac ex imho. Graphics are better andstoryline also...
