myself im on the market for a cruiser after 8 years of track&canyon on sportbikes.

might get a harley i tried a few models and i liked (wide glide,fat bob,night rod)

do i need to buy HD clothes? NO ,underwear? perfume? NO, chrome every piece of the bike? NO etc

Oooooo Im sure you are soooooo hardcore and everything, but these arent marketed to you. Its marketed (along with the Dark Custom bikes) to the young adults. We pay 60$ for a pair of jeans anyways, who gives a fuck if I want it to say HD or not?

While some people do take it to the next level, some of us just like to look good. And these are well designed clothes. Does that make me a poser? Maybe. But at least I do what I want, and not follow some "can only buy no-name shit because Im too hardcore for officially licensed clothes" like of thinking.

Why not just go out and ride, and not worry about what everyone else is wearing? We all love to ride, and unless you are a H.A. or Outlaw, then you are no less of a poser than the rest of us.

I was at a huge Harley dealer today that has just about all the current clothing line. Real nice stuff but holy shit is it expensive. 35 bucks for a sleevless t is fucking criminal. You can easily create the dark label look for a fraction of the price. It just wont say Harley on it which probably isnt a bad thing.
