  • I used to be bullied all the damn time. It got to the point where the staff got tired of it and basically just left me to handle those things on my own. It was because of that that my parents gave me the green light to fight back but ONLY if the offender attacked me first. My parents NEVER gave me support to throw the first punch or make the first move.

  • I love it when JJ quotes Shakespeare. Sticks and stones will break my bones but words won't hurt me.

  • Good for the mom !!!! My daughter got beaten by a boy when she was little. When I told her that she could hit him back with her hands or anything else she could find to hit him with... she gave the bully a beating he wil never forget..... And she never had any problems with him since then..... In general I am against violence..... but sometimes that is the only language bullies listen to.

  • shit, i've got loads of tabs of JJ open! i'm going to have a break lol

  • hahahahaha that woman is a moron

  • Someone bullies me, they are going to end up black and blue.

  • @PauseBroke LMFAO!!!!!!! An oath of poverty as a teacher!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • Plaintiff is seriously annoying. She needs to take the scratched glasses and shove them up her ass because apparently there are quite a few things already shoved up there.

  • She's not a very smart teacher... Nun's take a vow of poverty. Not teacher's. FOOLISH WOMAN!

  • Rebecca Hinson is a nasty cruel vicious insane deranged CUNT.

  • Normally i agree with judge judy but there are instance where some needs to get a good hit in the mouth. Its easy to sit in the judge's spot and lecture "sticks and stone...." its another thing to actually live it. The kid did the right thing by standing up for himself, maybe just should have pick a better location.

  • If you want justice, beat his ass up after school in the street. That's how we used to deal with things. Don't do it at school. Never, ever, ever. In my classroom, none of mates never had to suffer abuse from bullies. We used to kick their asses after school just to make a statement. From then on, no one ever approached us. And when we had differences between us, we used to fix it like men after school as well, without telling anything to anybody. Many fights led to strong friendships.

    .

  • The hell is wrong w/ the mother?! Crazy trollop.

  • CRIPPLE FIGHT

  • geez - when i was in school and i reported that someone broke my glasses FIRST THING both parents asked: "what did you do that made them hit you?" Their theory - it takes two. all the parents in my neighborhood just paid for half of whatever us kids did then beat the crap out of us. those were the days -

  • Plaintiff is a psychopath!!!! And she's a complete idiot, too. I don't make near what a teacher makes & neither of my kids have EVER done without medical care or glasses due to money! I may do without but they don't.

  • WTF she cannot be a teacher!!!!!

  • I can't believe a teacher told a child to hit another student. SHE needs to be suspended

  • @hooskerdog Lol I find this funny

  • If I had kids I often wonder how I'd advise them to deal with harrassment. I would probably say: "Do whatever you feel you have to in order to feel good about yourself as a person when you wake up in the morning, but never do somethig that will make you worse off than you were before. Try making the person look foolish, try befriending them, try reasoning with them, beat them to a bloody pulp as long as you won't get caught or can claim self defence, slit their throat if it's the best option."

  • @Schweinehunder I don't want you babysitting my kids.

  • That idiot (teacher) can be fired for encouraging students to fight/violence. I'm and Education major. They don't play.

  • idk if anyone watched Reno 911, but the P sounds just like weigle's baby daddy that went to jail for killing ppl lmao

  • The plaintiff's son testified he could "barely see out of" his scratched classes. Yet mom expects us to believe she didn't get them replaced for months?

  • That woman not only has no business being a teacher, she has no business using up oxygen.

  • That Bixxh is a teacher?! At first I feel sorry for her, but once her mouth moves, I really want to punch her in the face, and all that drama for $90! Get lost!

  • 90 dollars? All of that drama for 90 dollars?

  • hahaha, four eyed fuck! its a just a joke, i have worn glasses my whole life, I am a four eyed fuck too!

  • One way to stop a bully, kick his ass !!!!!

  • Was that Nancy Grace???

  • She is nuts.

  • @TheLiMaHe lolz I'm shocked that JJ didn't bitch her out longer than she did. hahahaha. This laday was a gas to listen to.

  • The P is a pussy. "I'm a teacher, I took a vow of poverty." Bullshit. Teachers around here make more than I do, and I live in La. We have some of the lowest paid teachers in the union. They start out at about $40,000 a year. Full benefits, paid vacations. Plenty of time for extra work. God I'd love to slap the shit outta that stupid woman.

  • Apparently her school district is hard up for K-5th grade art teachers.

  • @zenobia10127 You ain't lyin, that has got to be one of the most annoying, whinning bitches I've ever seen on this show. And that''s sayin alot. She said she took a vow of poverty because she's a teacher, bullshit. There's not one teacher in the United States of America who lives below the poverty line. Not one single teacher. They actually make pretty damn good money nowadays, maybe not compared to most college grads, but compared to the average citizen's salary they do.

  • I can't blame the defendant. That nerdy plantiff kid has a face that's just begging to be punched.

  • @eric20ike lolz

  • Judge Judy is usually correct, but shows her liberal side here. LMAO "it's on your record forever that you got suspended for fighting"...

Like getting in trouble (not with the law, but for fighting in school) in K-12 means half a shit.

  • @realrocky8591 It does. It may not mean much in the way o what job you'll get when you graduate from university, but it will affect university applications as well as scholarship/grant applications. That can be pretty big (the queen elizabeth scholarship alone was $3500 a year when I graduated, and you can get quite a few others).

  • @rpottage

Stop bullshitting, as if anyone actually believes the BS. LOL getting into a fight at the age of 14 (mind you, not a felony, misdemeanor OR EVEN A traffic ticket actually, but a school fight that warrants a suspension) will hurt one's college chances.

K-12 disciplinary actions are a joke.

  • @realrocky8591 Protip: Universities don't give thousand dollar scholarships to kids getting expelled or miss half their school year for fights in grade 12. (Grade 8's not a big deal, 9 and 10 probably aren't either. But 11 is, and Universities definately look at your record in grade 12. Their business is based on making you do well so they look good; and they don't look good giving out a free ride to Harvard for someone with 23 suspensions in one year, regardless of their grades).

  • @rpottage

Academic transcripts don't include suspension records.

  • @realrocky8591 Your entire transcript is looked at for scholarships. These are the people who look at your voluntary community service when it's not even associated with school; you can bet a scholarship based on leadership qualities or community service is going to look at whether you're getting in trouble at school. They probably won't care until grade 11 or 12; but they will care about suspensions in grade 12 if they're given $3500 a year based on leadership qualities.

  • @realrocky8591 I hate to break it to ya, but around here if you get in a fight at school you get arrested. Esoecially if your 17yo or older. Every school in this city has at least one full time copper on duty everyday. And they do incarcerate you.

  • It would be funny if a parent of one of her students told them to draw a middle finger on the chalkboard during class.

  • The plaintiff should be named Norman and I'm sure once his mother is retired she probably owns a motel.

  • i think the plaintiff's son is the actual bully, who wouldn't grow up a psycho with a mother like that

  • I understood the plaintiff's point completely, but she kinda lost me when the Judge said that she'd instructed her son to 'hit first.' I wouldn't have had a problem with my son defending himself after all other options had been exhausted, but I wouldn't have encouraged him to hit first.

  • The p's son is a weakling and he got his ass kicked. The d's son will probably be his boss in the future and will continue to kick his ass.

  • @sieracki001

Doubt it, the defendant's son is much smaller.

  • You gotta defend yourself.. JJ out to lunch on this one

  • whoa... she is a teacher I wouldn't want her around my kids.

  • The plaintiff is a frigging bitch

    !

  • Her son beat on someone who's disabled. Sounds like a member of the right wing. lol

  • since when do teachers take a vow of poverty

  • I'm posting too much on this one, but omg there must be a lot of snickering behind her back at work now.....

  • A vow of poverty, MY ASS! I would LOVE to be that kind of poor!

  • I can't help it, I really like the defendants

  • My mom always said to "kill 'em with kindness". I swear it worked with a couple of bullies in my day. I gave that advice to another young friend of mine and she contacted me to tell me how well it worked with her too. It doesn't hurt to try, right?

  • LOVE JJ's cock of the neck @ 4:06 when she knows she just 'gotcha'. The dad lost my vote in the end when he said that he knows his son and "that he's honest and forthright". Whoa Dad, even JJ knows never to trust teenagers. I love this show, I want to be JJ, I want to tell people off who annoy the bad word out of me.

  • You know it's not good when Judge Judy raises her voice.

  • Only defend yourself physically if you are being attacked physically- only then does it count as violence in the act of self-defense.

  • @E87K3 I think being bullied everyday is worse than being attacked physically. He did the right thing. There wouldn't be bullies if people stood up to them.

  • @gribbleparts He did the right thing morally perhaps but legally? Not a chance. That was the whole point of the case.

  • @E87K3 Ya she knows the law but JJ took the parent to task for telling her son to stand up for himself and I don't agree with that. Let's face it, JJ is a woman making 45 million a yr and doesn't know how to turn her own stove on anymore judging people who live in a whole different world from hers. Sometimes I think she is out of touch and lacks empathy .. Still interesting to watch. lol

  • @gribbleparts I'm not stalking you! I just had a quick look at your profile and saw your comment re this and have to say that I agree with you. She Does get it wrong sometimes, no doubt about it. And I have also noticed when she gets someone really gobby who is not afraid of her she backs off.

  • @EloiseDecember Ya, I've been gorging on these things lately and commenting like crazy.. somebody stop me. lol.

  • The plaintiff and her son, for some reason, annoy me.

  • Plaintiffs' kid is Ed Gein Jr.

  • @yeahsomuch83 LMAO omg burn .

  • "we support our children in standing up for themselves"....until they are being tried for murder.

  • Fuck that art teacher

  • @lopezjo Even that's not right :D

  • @deadmanavir lmfao

  • yeeeeeeeeeeehaw

  • If the damn principal was sick and tired of it, he should've done something to make it stop!

  • CLOSE YOUR MOUTH!!!!! HA HA HA...

  • I am SOOOO moving to Floriduh!

  • The plaintiff is a very scary woman.

  • Sometimes names DO hurt; they often hurt way more than "sticks and stones." That's what I would have countered with. That's a tired cliche and it's not true.

  • lol I love her big stupid face....like she's never heard the sticks and stones saying before

  • "It will be on your record for the rest of your life!!" HAHAHAHAHA!!!

  • What kind of teacher takes a vow of poverty???? I thought that was nuns and priests, and she's no nun! Actually, I take that back. I survived 10 years of Catholic school and those nuns were the meanest women on the planet.

  • @melcondon1 She was being sarcastic. She was complaining that she does not get paid enough. She probably thinks she does not get enough holidays too.

  • @Imogen1885 Exactly!! That's what my mom says and she was a teacher. Teachers go on strike when they get as much time off as the students, only work 6 hr days besides.

  • The boy on the plaintiffs side looks like a 40 year old man

  • I absolutely, positively agree with the mother about her giving him permission to strike back.

  • i'm a teacher and that woman should not be a teacher.

  • @kyeec Im a teacher to and she gives good teachers a bad name

  • @kyeec

Did you get a load of her sarcasm and ATTITUDE?

  • The mother's right, beat the bully up if you have to.

  • Yuck.

  • Soon their will be no real men left in America.

PC and the softening up of young men. Are destroying this country's future

  • @oneandoneforou812 So true...I say this everyday...boys are growing up to be big marshmellows who depend on women for support.

  • @oneandoneforou812 Absolutely, they are trained to be totally passive.

  • With my mum's medicare, I got two pairs of glasses for free...

Even then... $90? How can that mum pay for her kid's school books if it takes her 5 months to get $90 for something that's a necessity to him?

  • @hanaporter she also told him, in effect, to physically fight another kid! She's just a backwards person, this is NOT how you parent in our society in 2012. It's disgusting..

  • Plaintiff: You should see-- My brother is amazed--

Judge Judy: I don't care what your brother is! I don't care what your first cousin does! I don't care what your eighth cousin once removed does!

LOL! I was thinking exactly the same thing: "What the fuck does the plaintiff's brother have to do with anything? STFU, and get to the point, you stupid woman! GOD!" I love Judge Judy. XD

  • LOVE THIS EPISODE!!!

  • THey are wearing matching shirts how cute!

  • dat boi looks like an old guy

  • The mother's attitude is definitely foul and I hate the way she responded to JJ...but one thing i KIND of do understand where she's coming from - if her son was indeed bullied everyday by one particular kid, go and teach this kid a lesson not to mess with you. (I know its not the best way to handle but to young teenagers, being bullied can be a very depressing, sometimes the bully needs to see that "strong, dont mess with me" kind of attitude from the person they are bullying..) i hate bullies.

  • @xxxxmimi I agree with you totally, teach the bully a lesson,if it becomes PHYSICAL,I taught a bully a lesson once, because he bullied my brother who was sick with terminal cancer,of course the bully's excuse was"I did'nt know"yeah what he did not know was when he liked to punch my brother,it caused internal bleeding, which could have killed him,Sadly my brother died from the illness, but you bully someone and they have a problem and you kill them,it's called MURDER

  • @xxxxmimi Yeah...I can see the mom's point of view...

  • Wow...mom's a bitch

  • Wow, thanks a bunch for all these. You're awesome!
