  • GREAT! I just jumped the rope for 20 minutes, but I keep "hitting" the rope with my left feet, and I can only do few jumps in a row, any suggestions? :)

  • Hey, do your feet hurt when rope jumping that long? Coz mine hurts so i cant do many reps :(

  • @sourhack Everyone is different-you just have to find your discomfort threshold. Listen to your body above all else. I don't haven't had any issue with me feet hurting, but that's not to say I won't. If the pain persists, you may want to put the rope down on the floor to make a line, stand on one side and hop back and forth (I'm not being sarcastic at all) this is a build up before you are ready to turn the rope. Tell me more about what you are doing for exercise and how long?

  • @lourileylive Well, i just started rope jumping a month ago. Before that I did regular jogging but when I jog, my stomach hurts so I found another form of exercise which is jumping rope. But now my feet hurts. Maximum jumps I can get is around 70 than I need to sit for a while to ease the pain. Some people said its the shoes problem. So I'll try to buy new shoes with extra sponge in it :)

  • @sourhack hey man i had the same problem wearing my sneakers jumping on the concrete. So i got some big cardboard boxes and flattened them out to make a padded floor. Now i have no problem at all.

  • @aminedumaroc123 Definitely! Scroll through some of the comments and you'll find a couple of posts from others who have had success at weight loss by jumping rope.  It's a cardiovasuclar exercise that nearly works out the entire body. Have you tried jumping rope before? What was your experience with it?

  • hey man keep it up i kid you not i lost all my weight from jump roping and i was doing a little bit of jogging but i mainly was doing jump rope. i was obese and weighed about 280 now i weight about 195-200 and i look and feel great! keep at it man!

  • I know so many people who lost weight by rope skipping 1,000 times a day! they have a nice body shape now and look healthier. Personally I have gained a lot of weight after my knee surgery, I really want to do rope-skipping but I can't even walk properly yet. I hope you will get the body shape you desire, you just need time. Good luck! You give me motivation, thank you.

  • @PinkLilyGarden Thanks, I'm working this thing from a number of angles myself. Jumping Rope is simple one of them.  Have you ever tried exercising at a swimming pool? It takes a load of pressure off your knees and gives an unexpectedly effective workout?
