  • ying yang in the like bar

  • Hehehe, I just totally wasted 4 minutes. :)

  • play it play it play it

  • wow stoopp taalk!!!

  • im kind of glad i waited and got the RP255

  • @valdivia562 Thank you for posting that. I've been looking for a cheap way to play from my computer so I can keep my amp at my friend's house and I thought these Line6 pods were the only way. That RP255 looks way better, is cheaper, and has USB streaming. \m/

  • @VaticanIscaria yeah dude, its perfect! i had it for a year now and i love using it. i just havent been using it alot lately because school has gotten crazy and my guitar pickups suck

  • @valdivia562 I actually just replaced mine. If you're looking for a sweet set check out the EMG Zakk Wylde 81/85 set. It turned my ESP LTD into a BEAST.

  • @VaticanIscaria yeah my friend put those on his KH 202 like 4 months ago. ive been wanting to get new EMG's but i dont have the money and time to play my guitar anymore

  • just like it to make 44 likes and 45 dislikes to 45 like and 45 dislikes

  • I'm looking for a practice tool and my budget is around 300$

I've been looking at amplug, igtr, korg px5d, zoom g3 and the pocket pod.

Are there any alternatives?I just need something to practice with my headphones using my american strat and I want it to have a nice sound!

What would be the best sounding?

  • How do you actually record with one pf these? i just run a cheap standard 3.5 jack out of my vox amplug and it distorts if i have the volume over around 2.5.

is this the case with this as well?

  • You can't record via computer with is??

  • @guitarlessonscom Hey could someone help me? When i have vyzex on there is no sound? :/

  • Hi. I own a PodX3 and i think it's awesome. But this one is tiny and very compact. My PoD X3 has a feature to bypass the Amp sound. Is it also possible for the Pocket POD to bypass or switch off the amp sound?

  • wich is better for heavy metall sounds this or the boss me-50? please answer! :)

  • can you plug this into speakers instead of an amp?

  • Do i need anything else other than this and a computer to record my own stuff?

  • @ddcorey15 that's what i was wondering. let me know if you findout please.

  • @BilangualPotato666 Actually you only need a DAW (= any kind of audio recording software) to record your own stuff. You plug this unit into the mic-in or line-in of your computer, fire up your DAW and start recording. I use several Line6 products, and they are very, very good for their price.

  • I'm going to sound dumb but can you run this right into your amp?

  • @skateman61496 i was wondering the same thing x)

  • these are to record professional sound? cuz thats what im looking for im recording just with a camra right now:P

  • Can you use this with an amp, or is it just for computer recording?

  • @guitardudejosh19 ,,yes you can use it with your amp, just like a normal pedal board minus the footswitch,,but you can get a footswitch for it if you want. its a great piece of kit for the money,,plus this guy forgot to mention that you can plug your mp3 player into it ,ideal for practicing with backing tracks..allso you can upload and share your sounds with the line 6 custom tone page...the interface that was shown on the computer screen is free..

  • You using M Audio fast track ?

  • dose the recording software come with it, or do you have to pay for that separate?

and how easy is it to record with it?

  • your laptop wallpaper looked like some sort of pornographic image for a sec, lol

  • thangs ,

  • Play!

  • i use i line 6 floor pod

  • lol its smaller than i thought

  • Dude Nate! haha I was looking at buying one because I remember you used to play it at salem and so i was searching review videos and I found you had one funny stuff haha - Ian

  • You look like an actor.... I forgot which...

  • @12prinsen The one on tokyo drift.

  • I guess anyone who came to this video didn't expect only 10 seconds of sound demo in a 4 minute video. Lol.....

  • @Jakkc thx, i'm on another demo now

  • its a DC adapter man your giving the wrong info -.-"

  • @Ocelot911 No you idiot, it's AC, which is what you hook up into your wall power. DC is a car type power.

  • @TheMadMusicMan "DC Input – You can power Pocket POD here using the optional Line 6 DC-1

external power supply. The optional DC-1 provides 9.6 volts DC, 200 mA and has centernegative

    polarity"

    pwned?

  • omg he uses mac leaves and thumbs down

  • @sunynight3 Haha are you serious? A Mac is far better then a PC when it comes to making music.

  • @Leniciso show me examples ?

cause I'm not convinced about a mac being good at all ( i worked with those damn things for 2 years so i got bad experience with them )

hmm could also be that they were poorly maintained but anyways ...

    just convince me

  • @sunynight3 I despise Mac when it comes to everything except music. There's a lot of software making it easy for musicians to record and create music. Software examples are Logic Studios, Pro Tools and Cubase.

  • @Leniciso okay sorry for getting mad at you guys i guess i took this to personal and freaked out

btw my thumb down is a thumb up now =]

  • @sunynight3 I'm a huge PC fan, but when it comes to music, recording etc the mac is WAY WAY better. No competition there.

  • @MaelstromExodus why not mac is a huge pain in the ass with it's docking system things that start to glitch or crash when you try to save big files etc

anyways thats not really my point why is a mac better in using audio software when pc has more audio programs it can use ?

  • i have a pod 1.0 where can i get that software?to edit the sound?is it free?

  • ▋▋▋▋ 5,720 Patchs Line6 POD 2.0 L6T POD xt RAR FILE DOWNLOAD

  • Cant he Pod be used as a regular effects pod. Ie guitar in to pod and then out of pod to amp ?? so can the Pocket pod be played through my Marshall Amp ?

  • do you need an effect loop to use the pod or do you just put it between guitar and amp?

  • @scarparkm3 just between

  • @CalmDraven You run a chord from your Guitar to the pod using the GUITAR IN input on the pod and then run another chord from the pod to the AMP using the...AMP OUT output. :) So you need 2 guitar chords to do this.

  • @ejvazquez6 I guess you could do that though i'm not sure you'd be getting anything out of it. You would run out of your AMP into the POD on a clean channel i guess. Really you wouldnt need the amp if youre just jamming or messing around. The POD is perfect for late night jamming.

  • hey heres a really stupid question !!! dose anyone know how to connect the pod to the amp and guiter at the same time ??? i can plug the thing in to my guiter with the lead but i can't connect it to the amp and guiter so i have to use head phones to hear it and i don't want that i want to be able to hear it though my amp ??? dose anyone know how ??? i thought they would of gave me a cable to go along with the pod but no all i got was a USB cable so need to buy another cable or what anyone ???

  • @chino2012 do you know if i can connect the pod to my vox ac30 and use the pod for headphones because the ac30 is way to loud to play at night and i want to be able to hear my amp only through my headphones,

  • @Phantomz400 Yes, you can plug a guitar into the Pocket Pod and Plug headphones in without needing an amp. It has distortion effects ect. You dont NEED an amp to play through this just headphones.

  • i gotta question may sound dumb.

im trying to by a friend something that he can use just to learn so i dont plan on getting him an expensive amp. now i dont wanna buy him a shitt 40 dollar amp.

basically what im asking is this like say a distortion pedal and its for effects only or could he plug his guitar in, plug head phones in and play? without an amp?

  • how can you change the presets when you're playing live without using your hands?

  • @AHMADF93 you can't mate it's just a cheap effect, not an effect to use at a live show i mean, but it's pretty awesome to play at home

  • is it a problem if i use another ac adapter?

for example the one from a digitevh rp90, its 9V too...

    please answer!

    regards

  • You can use this to record with. You set your DAW input to "Stereo Mix". Thats with REAPER though ;)

  • @randommiker heey, you seem to know how to record with this thing, can you explain how you record, i mean how do you plug it? cause when i plug it right from the output to my soundcard into cubase it sounds very ''mellow'' or like really bad quality sound, and IF you record using USB, then HOW?

    Thank You

    -Torsten

  • @MrMusic95 I do not know much about the POD but..i am pretty sure there is a software to download from Line 6 website, that will host a for your USB on the LINE 6. POD FARM i believe is the software. Plugging from the output into sound card input is tricky ha

  • hey, is that an alvarez fd60 (the acoustic in the middle)?

  • hey, is that an alvarez fd60 acoustic (the one in the middle). thinkin' about picking one of those pods up. i used to have a pod x3 live and liked it, but need something for traveling.

  • I have one but i cant figure out if i can or can't, can you use any kind of control pedals with the pocket pod to change from effect to effect?

  • @DanPotthast1 there's a video on youtube somewhere of a guy who modded his to have a footswitch that could toggle between saved sounds and also had a tap tempo. He's got a link to his website with the schematics on it

  • @BradSpead7 thanks for ur help brad. u mah doo!

  • i want one of these things to record on my computer using audacity is it easy using it for that?

  • will someone show me how to sound like kurt cobain on this pod

  • i would just buy a pod 2.0

  • I have a question.... Is that Line-6 pod limited edition? Last time I saw in store, the pods i saw didnt have a screen but it was at same price...

  • @this1koreankid Nah, the one without the screen is the pocket pod 'express'. From what I hear it's nowhere near as good.

  • @ShredderBenjamin ah thank you for clearing that out. i just got a pocket pod original a day ago but i got a bit confused with the different pods :P

  • is there a way u can change the sound of ur effects on the guitar during a song without having to press the button with ur hands. like can u use it like a footswitch or something to change ur sound really quick

  • @metallover54 yes u need to buy a fbv pedal

  • when i bought this thing it didn't came with the software why? and i see everyone have in the computer unless you download from the website ? and i try to update but my computer can read it and i wonder why ? is like is not plug in why man ? something is wrong with this pocket pop ?

  • @77Fortran

Can't always use the real thing when you are traveling, live in an apartment or just need to lay down some tracks quickly. I prefer the real thing though :)

  • @guitarlessonscom I am 77fortran and I approve of this message!

  • Line 6 sucks!! use the real thing :)

  • I like to play metallica covers and satriani stuff and record it at home,I want to plugg it to the guitar and directly yo may laptop,

would you recommend the line 6 pocket pod , or the zoom g2.1u?

  • The Two are very good but the pod is more cool and has more options

  • @lavender200012 Line 6 pod if you want effects and variety. But the zoom has a built in expression pedal so you you can take manual control of wah, delay etc
