The way an anti-viral works is they inject a dying cell of the virus in question into your body and your immune system is supposed to fight it off and become stronger to the actual virus, and we people with MS probably cant fight off even the dying version. So i would say, just go with the basic ninja mask and carry a shit load of hand sanitizer around, i know i am posting this comment 2 years later than the video but i just came across it so dont judge me :D lol hope everything went ok.
@ilovepinatas3179 oh hey... i don't mind comments on older videos... i like that people are still watching them. Yeah in the end i decided against the injection.. and i was fine
@pinkjessuk85 YAY i got a response!, lol i find your vids hilarious, i love your style of videos and humor, and the way you cope with your problem (in the vids you address it) is very uplifting. Thank you for your time.
@Jordyback just continued ignoring it... heard some bad stuff about the vaccine, that it could make me more sick... still alive now.. so i guess i made the right choice ^-^
When I was a little kid my parents got me the swine flu shot in 1976. It was recalled because it caused autoimmune diseases. No way I'm going to get this one but I may have immunities left over from the last one. When I do get sick I get sicker than other people. I lost nearly every job I had do to excess sick time and now I know why.
Don't get a normal seasonal flu shot. That's for old farts. Also getting the normal flu shot will put you at more risk in contracting h1n1. If you are to get the h1n1 shot, don't get the one with a immune stimulator in it. There is different one without that in it.
Alot of treatments used for MS are immune suppressors. Which means the doctors are trying to slow down our over active immune systems. My doctor said it is important to get the flu shot . Although I haven't yet. And always wash your hands.
ABC News reports on how Multiple Sclerosis was effectively treated by a new acoustic medical device. The technology, Medsonix also has a profound beneficial effect on a wide range of medical disorders and is FDA registered as a Class One Medical Device, the safest classification possible. ... Look it up here on youtube... If you want more info contact me!!... BTW, your very funny!
Hi! i've ms as well, and i was surfing searching 4 the same answer than u...that's quite difficult. as i understand our IS is powerful as said fritocat, but mad anyway...but i don't wanna get this crazy vaccine that create worst side effects that bennefits!! and i guess with some orage juices we won't get ill without using the fukin' mask
Hello, I have MS and we actually have super immune systems. Our immune systems are so over-active that it attacks healthy tissue (mylin) in the central nervous system. My point is that most people with MS do not get common colds or Flu's although it is not impossible for us to get sick. I would say to wash your hands a lot because you work with the public. If you are still concerned you should talk to your doctor. Best of luck. Great video. :)
Mate, don't go for a ninja mask, just get that pretty damn fly Wood Elf costume back... you'd be protected, and we'd have a Waywatcher barmaid. Everyone wins...
You should be fine, but of course being careful never hurts.
I'm not exactly sure on what to tell you since they never really made it a big deal over here where I live in California, but having one of those awesome ninja masks would be smart, among with washing your hands more often.
I wish I had some decent advice for you, but I don't. There's so much uncertainty regarding anti-virals. I'm not even sure I'll have the vaccine when/if it becomes available. Just read the evidence and make informed choices :)
I believe that you'll be fine. I don't know anyone with MS, but I do know someone with Lupus which also has almost no immune system and she's not too worried about it. Again, she lives in the states and I don't know how bad it is where you are, but I still think you don't have much to worry about. ;)
i don't have ms, but i was wondering if swine aids (i mashed up the two :] ) is still that big of a threat in the UK? it's really pretty much died down here in the states, and i was starting to think that it was all a bunch of....for lack of a better term....hogwash (or at least overblown).

I love your make up! :)
Not sure what to tell you. I'm not to worried about pig aids because I don't know anyone that has it. But I guess I should be worried. T_T
I'll pass this video on to a girl I know that has MS.

There's only one solution.
...
Lock yourself up in your house for the next 15 years with only canned food, coke and the full DVD box of The Sopranos.
Fuck yea, I wouldn't say no to that!
