Well some people them in their 20's and 50's because maybe their parents have the money for them or the for the orthodontist vist.

Some wanted to wait probably after high school.

On some of the photographs she had to put that thing on my mouth. It doesn't hurt and, if you're weird like me and like having things that make pressure in your mouth, then this is your thing XD

I got my bottom braces 3 days ago. It took about 45 minutes. For me, the first day was the worst. For people about to get braces: Sleep with wax on for the first night or two. I think they did it a bit too fast, because one of my brackets already came off! I have to go call the orthodontist.....Again.

spacers dont hurt they just hurt like the day after when you try to eat but like the 4th 5th day it dont hurt that much i got spacers for almost a week already nd it dont hurt and if u dont want the braces to hurt take advil one hour after you get them trust me my best friend has em and his moms a dentist hope this helped

no. no shots and when they stretch out your lips its nothing. it's kinda relaxing because you don't need to open your mouth when your getting braces, you just relax there. make sure you breath out of your nose though. not because you'll gag or anything, but because it'll be easier to breath.

I got my four wisdom teeth out and one of my bottom teeth from right at the front out too and then I got braces today which is about three weeks after the wisdom teeth thing. It hurts a bit but it's not unbearable. You will be totally fine. Just keep taking those painkillers and you will have no worries :) Good luck!

Well having any teeth removed is going to hurt... the injection may sting a bit. But you wont feel anything while it's being done, maybe just a bit of pressure. You may have some pain afterwards though, but that's only natural... after all, you've just pulled a tooth from your mouth.

I never got mine on the NHS... thanks to my dentist. Some of the work your Braces will do to your teeth might get undone when your wisdom teeth come through (wont be yet, you're too young). They normally come in between 18 and 25 years old. Mine came in last year and have knocked my teeth out of line. I am going for Invisalign (invisible) braces.

Braces are not bad like everybody sais. I first hated it when I got them, but now I have them for more than 2 years and I like them. They look good to me and they don't hurt. It even attracks girls strangely enough. I still need them for almost 2 years and though I don't hate my braces I also look forward to the day they get off. I get mine off soon but it doesnt hurt but i say this to be honest: for me and some other of my friends it hurt for about 4 days after- obviously because its pulling your teeth around. After that you adjust to them and it's normal. Strangly i like my braces - and this isn't being bigheaded but I suit them and i don't really want them off yet !!!!

Many of my friends have had them in the past when they were younger and stuff but nowadays you tend to get invisible retainers i love i get invisible!

neither of them hurt, if u have sensetive teeth like i do, than it will just barely hurt. on a scale of 1 to 10, and 10 being the worst, it was only about a 4 on the sensetive teeth of how much it hurt me.
