This is uplifting.:) If you are not from the Gulf Coast you may not realize that the whole Gulf Coast was torn up. Waveland MS was destroyed as were neighboring towns and cities. The Gulf Coast is building back. It takes time and money and red tape cleared.:) thanks for posting this uplifing video.:)
I feel for every soul that was ripped apart by Katrina. But this person is correct, a building doesn't make a church. And at least they are free to worship as they will. People in other countries are being murdered and tortured for meeting in secret to worship the way that they feel led. We are blessed right now in America to worship the way we want. Which is more than I can say for us a few years down the road if Obama becomes President.
dude no president is going to be able to change something like that, no matter how good or bad they are, we will be able to worship how we please. besides no one can fuck it up any worse than bush already has

You think Bush has done such a terrible job? Elect Clinton or Obama and just wait. In a few years you will be BEGGING for a president like Bush. Everyone like to use Bush as a scapegoat. Time will tell.
Look, maybe if you weren't so narrow minded and one sided you could see that it's not the democrats that are going to screw us, nor is it going to be McCain if he's elected. Because, no matter who is elected, we're still FUCKED! China has us by the balls, since everything that you or I own is made there, not only clothing and other items, but also our cars. If big business owners wouldn't give our jobs to other countries cause they want to pinch a pennie, then we'd be fine, until then, we're SOL
I could live in a box and know I'm blest with more valuable things than some critics believe they have. They may have things, but often their souls are empty.
God bless these people & their church. A bulding does not a church make. A church is a community of hearts & souls.
We can worship in an open field (weather permitting), in an alley, anywhere that two or more are gathered together in His name, "there am I" saith the Lord.
We are so blessed to be able to depend on the Lord & ourselves to recover from adversity -- and not the empty promises of government, for it often doesn't fulfill these promises. Our Lord always fulfills His promise.
I love my tent church. I go to this church every Sunday with my family.

Every Catholic Diocese has PARISHES, regardless if the political units are counties.

I just want to let you know that MS has counties, not parishes.

I'm from South MS, but I'm sure the post meant the church parish (catholic churches have parishes).
