@Shintsu2 Cold start up. Nothing more. If you find other clips of other "63" models, including the SL, they sound the same when revved up a bit upon a cold start.

my only beef with the SL63 is that with the 5.4L supercharged, much much more power could be derived by swapping pulleys and with intake upgrades. Boosted vehicles always make bigger gains that a naturally aspirated V8 that is already pushed pretty far from the factory.

Hm, if I'm not totally mistaken I think that Kleemann has a complete supercharger kit for 63 AMG engine, and the warranty remains.

i just heard one of these in real life the other day and it was the worse sounding car i've ever heard... it seriously sounded like an older crappy truck exhaust... no purr whatsoever... way to tin canny.. if you want a real v8 sound listen to a new z06... if i spent this much on this car and it sounded like that i'd be super pissed

aah...i didnt like it...i prefer a car to sound like an aston martin db9...has that monster grumble when it turns on...but the sl 63 is absolutely beautiful
