Okay, I watch MSNBC a lot; Countdown and Rachel Maddow's show especially. Let me just say this: when they covered any kind of speech, even if it was by Bush, whom neither of them liked, they would NEVER start their show if the speaker was still talking. They would only start after the speech was over. I thought I'd mention it since everyone always says that MSNBC is as bad as FOX. MSNBC isn't always bad, guys.
I really didn't see what was the problem. Sure the candidate had to share a screen while the station handed off to another program and do station housekeeping tasks. Were Hume or Hannity informed this was to be a historic speech for a primary, or told to adhere to a broadcast schedule from a candidate hopeful? Live television is a lot of things, and few of those are pluses except that of immediacy. Everything is done on the fly, and sometimes not every event is covered in the very best way.

Okay, I watch MSNBC a lot; Countdown and Rachel Maddow's show especially. Let me just say this: when they covered any kind of speech, even if it was by Bush, whom neither of them liked, they would NEVER start their show if the speaker was still talking. They would only start after the speech was over. I thought I'd mention it since everyone always says that MSNBC is as bad as FOX. MSNBC isn't always bad, guys.

I really didn't see what was the problem. Sure the candidate had to share a screen while the station handed off to another program and do station housekeeping tasks. Were Hume or Hannity informed this was to be a historic speech for a primary, or told to adhere to a broadcast schedule from a candidate hopeful? Live television is a lot of things, and few of those are pluses except that of immediacy. Everything is done on the fly, and sometimes not every event is covered in the very best way.

FYI, Presidents don't "vote" on anything, there has been a request to increase troop levels, which hasn't happened yet, his promises were which regards to IRAQ, not Afghanistan, which he always said we should have been focusing on in the first place, troop levels are decreasing in Iraq, and he cut taxes for 96% of American families. The cuts were apart of the stimulus. Google Obama tax cut moron. Last, the worst thing you can do is as the govt is NOT spend in a recession- it stalls the economy.

The economy is doing better? What planet are you talking about? Americans have lost over 4 million jobs since Jan. Some States, have unemployment rates 12% and 15%, like MI, and Oh. Obama's defense is well we could have lost 8 million if not for giving $700 billion to bail out the unions. Never in History have we had a "could have lost index" on unemployment. The problem began with the Gov: forcing banks to lend money to folks to buy homes they couldn't afford. So Obama, continues Bush's big spending, another 700 billion stimulus pkg, bail out out more banks, forces them to take the money, buys GM, extends the patriot act, has gradually changed on Iraq and Afghanistan, while keeping the same folks in place.
