the difference is bigger that real life because the iphone speaker is pointed downwards while the aircurve's front (where the sound comes out) is pointed towards the cameras microphone. but it's still an awesome product.
What a waste of money for that little amplification! If the engineers (if there were any) predicted the iPhone would be connected to a USB power outlet, for which they designed a path for the wire and the plug, it must have occurred to them that they could have powered speakers and then they could design an curved path such as in Bose Wave Radio for the base sound. I bought mine brand new in box for $2 at a thrift shop who were desperately trying to get rid of bunch of these.
I don't think it works with the iPod touch. The dock adapters are designed for iPhone. It comes with two dock adapters one is for the older model iPhone and one for the iPhone 3G.
somone needs to stop hiding behind there computer and accept the fact that people can be wrong, jesus, what does it matter?all you need to do is stick a dock adapter in the dock and stick a ipod in, even if they are notmounted at the bottom all the sound comes out of there
I have cut an eraser gum in a suitable shape and put it in the aircurve dock cable slot. Now the original dock cable from Apple fits in very well an you can easily take the iPhone off and on the dock.
Cool, nice demo. Seems like it works pretty well. I heard its annoying to use as a dock though because of the way the Apple cable is smaller than the griffin cable, and the griffin cable locks onto the iPhone so you can't just easily pull it on and off of the dock when you get a call...
If you read my review that I posted at that link in the more info section you'll see that I mentioned the same thing. I worked around that by tightly wrapping electrical tape around the locking buttons on the Griffin cable before putting the cable in the dock. It holds the lock buttons in and then you can easily pull the phone on and off the dock. If you are planning using this dock with the Apple cable then yeah it sucks. :)

It will not work with the new ipod touch. If you check griffin's site they clearly state that it will NOT work.
