this camera works well when you get the CORRECT FIRMWARE UPDATE. Otherwise, the framerate is very slow (29.97 fps, but every frame is duplicated 3 or 4 times to make the 29.97 framerate up--the firmware update fixes this).

Viewsonic 3d camcorder from J & R is $159 this week.

Its sad how these companies like Viewsonic ,Aiptek and DXG are taking credit of introducing the first 3D pocket camcorder. In fact the reality is that some chinese manufacturers are producing these cameras but are unable to sell on their own so these copanies mentioned above are buying these camcorder from them and re-labelling them and selling as if its their own invention.

I just found out about this camera two days ago and got one via Amazon Prime the next day. This overview video is neat, but it would be nice to see some actual samples. The Gallery page on the official website only shows a handful of anaglyph photos.

For those interested, the output from the camera is either a split screen (left/right side-by-side) JPG or split screen MP4 file. Software on the PC (Windows only, by Arcsoft) converts it to anaglyph.

Amazing for the price.

Yuutube has a multiformat-3D-Video-function since more than 1 Jahr. Search for an instruction video. or google.

Ok here we have a product-information only. There are some 3D-videos shown. Unfortunately not shot with a steadycam. A tiny one for iphone will come out by a photo-accessory-producer

@kungfumutant @europanoramic The company website's description for the camera says(among other things) that it is compatible with most major brand 3D Televisions, so I think you get 3D on the cams little display but to see it on any other display(TV, computer), the display has to support 3D
