  • the sound is awful. shame.

  • First time to see these geezers. I don't get the attraction. I prefer people to at least be healthy and make music with some melody and happiness to it.

Thumbs down for this crusty beerdrinking redneck Neil Old.

  • @ScaredPiglet You're confused.

  • @ScaredPiglet

First time,eh? Well maybe that's why you don't get, 'the attraction.'

But then, you being part of the 'master race,' with an empty home page, and empty head, you wouldn't know the effects of prednisone, which Neil has to take due to a slight stroke several years ago. It makes you add weight, and nothing can be done about it.

As for your happy melodies, I suggest you have your Mother bring you some cookies and milk while you watch re-runs of The Partridge Family.

  • A year later and still one of the best gigs of my life.....!

  • Neil Young is a serious rock god!

  • when rock legends want good gigs they come to England.

  • This guy was feckin great!!!!!!! wish I had a ticket for this year.......!!!!

  • Love the Canadian flag waving

  • this kind of sucks.

  • man, you kinda of totally suck. i was there, it was b far the best performance of the whole festival. For a sixty-something year old, he can sure still rock it out

  • @Alhambrattp Dude common its Neil, and he was the best performance there.

  • Thanks all for posting comments. I just played this video through full screen for the first time since around a month after the gig. It took me straight back. I have tickets for next years 40th anniversary!

  • I was AT the canadian flag for this!!! I met up with fellow canadians from ottawa who were swinging it. amazing moment.

  • Ah! I remember you standing with us! From Calgary right? (if i remember correctly!) Awesome!!

  • hah YEAHH!! I'm from Montreal and my friend who was with me is from calgary!! didnt i see you at the tshirt stand the next day too?

  • think so! I have a couple of pictures from this set if you want them, although they aren't too good- i was waving the flag around too much to get too steady of pictures. That, and in true Canadian fashion it was duct-taped together & I was worried it would collapse...haha

  • HAHA, I was standing literally right from where you filmed this! A little further from the Canadian flag though.

KEEP ON ROCKIN IN THE FREE WORLD!

  • This is an anthem, man! It's a free concert, man, across the world. Social commentary that rocks the hell out of things... can it get any better?

  • Good video, this was probably my highlight of Glasto last year. Amazing. Was a few yards to the right of you and got some good photos. See video response if you are interested.

  • Quite possibly the best gig ive ever seen and ive bin to shitloads over the last 12 years. He blew me away and prompted me to go out and buy a few albums. Ive become a massive fan and im hooked!

  • one of my best ever glastonbury gigs & ive been going since 1985 but neil young rocked the place man

  • Neil Young that sly motherfucker faking everyone out like that

  • Thanks Stan for being there with us. We saw you guys but couldn't make it over, we were about 15 feet from the front, just over by the right. We only met a few canadians there this year, hope to see more next year!

  • thanks for flying that canadian flag we love back home

  • kool, I will do next year.

  • I seen this on Tv , Epic .

Nice one putting it up ..

  • great footage! of neil young!

  • My 2 friends & I are holding that flag, figured we might as well represent Canada! Amazing Set, one of my favourite Neil performance's

  • The flag looks really good with the stage lights shining through it. Next time maybe we'll strap the little camera to your flag pole! What a view that would get!?

  • That's right Canada Baby and the man Neil.

  • love the Canada flag, Neil is a legend.

  • AWESOME

  • I was just a few feet away from the guy who video'd this. Never been a Neil Young fan , but was totally blown away by his performance...and I came straight from loving a top set from Lady GAGA on another stage , but that's how varied Glasto is Attn YorkshirPunk02.... The Glastonbury site is as large as the City of Bath , must be over 50 stages from Pyramid Main stage in field for 80,000 to tiny venues for 50 punters. U Must Go..I'm 51 years old + still lovin it

  • I was there.....this is epic

  • that is historical

  • wish I was here....

  • i was standing rright there!

    amazin song! x

  • I'm definitely going next year. How big actually is it? The whole place

  • not sure about size, but about 200,000 people were there this year and could easily take more than 45 mins to walk from one side of it to the other

  • I've heard 8 miles and also twice the size of monaco i'm not sure if either is true but it is massive and an amazing thing to experience imo
