@TheCTRI The ref wont stop the play if someone is hurt if there's a chance to score a goal for a team. If a person kicks the ball out, however, that lets people come in the aid the injured person, it's sportsmanship to kick the the ball out when there's an injured person the field. The team will typically give the ball back to the other team if they do this to return the favor.
