I like Cohen, but ummm.... Sasha didn't just choke under pressure. she never skated a competitions cleanly in her career, so it's hard to say she choked every competition.
I don't Kwan choked either. She had a flawless but tenative 1998 program, then the fall on the flip to get bronze, then the injury after that... I hard call that choking.
idgaf she is gorgeous, and really fit, id marry her, but besides hat what has a sport such as figure skating come to, were is the yearn for human artistic expression rather then the measure of femininity or masculinity, gliding on the ice isnt about being gay, or straight, looking to manly or girly, its all about the expression of the individual, the heart, the soul to feel the freedom to soar!! @getrealandsee You are correct...Sasha doesn't HAVE many medals, and I am very interested in hearing about the medals she allegedly EARNED. Maybe you could post a link to all of the World, US and Olympic championships where Sasha skated a clean SP and LP back to back did not win. Can't wait to see!!!!!
@getrealandsee This is where Sasha is at her best...when there is nothing on the line and zero pressure. It really is a shame that she was never able to acquire the talent and mental toughness required to win 9 national and 5 world titles. Still, she was and is a GORGEOUS skater!
@yankees5297 The object of competing for titles is to win them, therefore the person who wins titles is in fact the best skater. Do you doubt for a moment that Sasha's intent was to win each competition she entered? Skating is not just about artistry, and I think it is insulting to Sasha that so many of her fans find it necessary to rewrite history in order to accept her.
