When people say "it doesn't count because this is filler" they're forgetting that the manga and the anime are completely separate entities. Yes, this move may not be canon for the MANGA, but it's canon for the ANIME. You have to look at them separately. The anime and manga are different. If you can't accept that fact and will put down anything that's not manga-canon, you shouldn't be watching the anime. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment.
@Passion4rp im pretty sure any moves that they show/learn in fillers are generally not used in the main arcs of the anime anyway, thats how it normally is.

I think you mean the filler episodes, and in those, it was more of a defensive style, so maybe using it for 64 palms defensively is easier than using 32 palms offensively.

When people say "it doesn't count because this is filler" they're forgetting that the manga and the anime are completely separate entities. Yes, this move may not be canon for the MANGA, but it's canon for the ANIME. You have to look at them separately. The anime and manga are different. If you can't accept that fact and will put down anything that's not manga-canon, you shouldn't be watching the anime. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment.

The fact that the anime changes things (like the origins of the sharnigan) means it is not included in any discussion.

It is up to the individual fan to decide which one they support... but remember that Protection of 8 trig 64 palms has been classified as one of Hinata's official jutsu in games, which makes it canon.

Neji could only use 64 palms because he was a prodigy, not to mention that hinata focuses on other techniques aside from the standard (Protection of 8 Trigrams 64 palms and Gentle Step Twin Lions Fist). Its easy to assume that she simply doesn't learn as fast as the others, or just hasn't seen reason to make herself faster to use 64 palms... or maybe she can, and thought it might be overkill.

@1461andrei Actually that was 64 pals GUARD, she made that jutsu up herself based off of 64 palms strike. She doesn't have the agility to do 64 palms strike yet, which is why she is at only 32 palms. But she is trying her hardest, she can do it eventually ^_^ I think she will definitely be the heir of the throne instead of her bitchy little sister Hanabi.
