God two years working at the Angelika Film Center in dallas TX, has been cool yet funny cuz the people are so dumb. ASKING YOUR OWN GF OR WIFE WHAT DO I LIKE, IS STUPID!...lol HOW THE FUCK DO THEY KNO WHAT YOU WANT!..lol
I have a couple of Questions for you 1.what should I wear to the job interview at my local movie theatre? 2. Is it true if they hire me i can watch free movies ? and 3. Do you know what the mangers look for in a potential employee?
@princesskeia13 1. Wear business casual--slacks or a skirt, a nice button up shirt, and sensible shoes. Doesn't have to be super formal, just stay away from jeans and flip flops! 2. It depends on the theater, but I think most will let you watch movies for free :) 3. Managers are looking for someone who isn't going to slack off and will FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. A positive attitude is also really important, since you're going to be around customers most of the time. Good luck!!
You are very funny. All true stuff. Also, customers everywhere, if there is a potential hazard to them, such as "person on a ladder" or something of that nature, they walk straight to it. Also, "why is the back concession never open?" ...spoken always in ear shot of an employee but rarely asked directly to the employee.
Thanks for the reply. A couple guys I know gave me crap for never going to the theaters. But anyway, nice work on the vids. I enjoy the randomness and the flashy hand and head movements. They keep my attention. Very entertaining!
"Movie theatre food is expensive...and it's not my fault." Ugh, I wish more customers would really put this deep in their minds. I work at a movie theatre too and it's seriously made me like humanity less. This lady during my shift today made me explain everything I charged her for even though I gave her a receipt. :rolls eyes:
@WrittenInDork Ack, you have no idea what a relief that is to hear! XD Thank you!! I still need a lot of practice though.
Funny thing is, I got a call from Best Buy right after I got hired at the theater... kinda wishing I'd gone to that interview too, as a back up. Idk. Oh well.
OMG MORGAN!!! I didn't know you made youtube videos!! :)

@kojirofuefuki Thanks, and no problem! :) I couldn't stop the hand movements if I wanted to, it's like part of talking. Glad it's entertaining!

Be square with me. I never go to theaters. Does that make me a bad person?
kojirofuefuki 1 year ago
@kojirofuefuki Heck naw! I never saw movies in theaters before I started working at one, to be honest.
