I first saw this video in 1983 while in the US Navy. I HATE the military and

war. Years later I get it. In fact, there was an actual cease fire between British

and German troops in France for Xmas. This vid is based on fact. Sadly,

in January 1915 both sides resumed the slaughter. I did not pay attention in

'83 but now I get it. Macca is great.

This is actually what happened in WW1. All it was , was a trench war. the trenches could be as close as 10 yards to 600 yard. World War 1 was kinda weird because the could talk to each other and make friends. There was only one time that they played soccer, shared wine and share food. This was during Christmas of 1916 when most of the people were kinda of sick of the war.

I am so happy that this incident ACTUALLY HAPPEND FOR REAL. Thats a prime example of how human beings should be....Defend your family and your house...But why fight for some asshole old man who's ordering 10000's of young men to fight to the death for HIS personal gain. Nobody condiers the pain the soldiers go through. The pain some suffer as they die slowly in a mud and rat infested hell hole. The pain they feel when they know they wont see their family again.... Wars are pushed by weapon manufactures or political leaders who invest in things such as weapons,oil. Everytime a war starts two things should happen. 1. Weapon Manufactures profit should be limited. 2. The solders should vote on both sides weather or not they should go to war.

Not some asshole sitting in a sit way high up who will never pick up a gun and shoot it, but just stand there and count his profit. WW1 and WW2 could have been avioded just like every other war.
