Looking back, the weapons handling in Fallout 3 wasn't really good/enjoyable. I know it's not Counter-Strike. I don't expect it to be. But if you're setting game in first person perspective & you put gun in players hand then make realistic. Most of the guns found in Fallout 'behave' like plastic toys. Except maybe for explosives. I'd say that they did good job there.

No, once you've finished the main quest you can't continue with your game, accept if you have the broken steel DLC. But than again you can just load a previous save and use it to continue playing.
ya i did hahaha, but I hate how people will say this is just like Oblivion, and its not at all I think it's better and I love how this game is set in a retro 1950s future environment its awesome. and I love the jokes in the game, there a lot them. and if your farley educated on 1950 tech its so much more funny.
That's why I play in FPS mode. That and everything looks kind of cheesy in third person to me. Also if I could go off topic for a bit why is third person mode called "Third Person" and not say Second Person, or would that be playing from the perspective of the enemy?
u gotta play it for a bit when i first started i was so mad and thought it was so hard but after u play for a bit and get the hang of it it gets alot better.
only way youll know is to play it. its a hard game not to like... but you need to experience the level of freedom it provides the player first hand to really know whats so great about it...

it is definately worth the buy though.

this is the only fallout game i have played and it is great and super violent fun.
there are alot of side quest apart from the main quest about your father.
so you should really play those before you decide to finish the main quest, because once you finish the main quests you have to start the game over or go back to a previously saved game.
i rented this game from blockbuster thinking that it would be awesome but sadly i hated it. it is a rpg and thats cool as is steal stuff from houses and dead bodies and putting it in your pipboy. cool storyline, but you have to travel far to do quests and its hard to aim and kill people up close especially when you are just out traveling alone and raiders and supermutants are in big groups and are positioned about every other 20 steps in any direction
Give it a chance. I hated it my first 5 levels, now I have played through the game twice and can't stop. I haven't even opened my Mirrors Edge or Fable 2 from Christmas yet!

Get Metal Gear Solid 4 because it is by far the best out of all those games you listed. The single player is a cinematic masterpiece (They're now making a feature film for it) and the online (MGO) is brilliant because it is a lot more interesting and tactical than the typical generic online game like COD4. The whole game uses a lot of tactical sneaking. It is my favourite game by far.
trying to stay on bad karma but it keeps giving me good karma quests the only hard core evil I could find was blowing up megaton, (awesome) slaveing and being a cannibal. any more?

Try toning down the difficulty.
Trouble hitting people?
Try using VATS, or increasing/decreasing the sensitivity on your controller.

It's all up to you man. If you didnt like OB because of its setting (Pre-Midevil)and not because of its engine then you will like Fallout.
I suggest you rent this first since you didnt enjoy OB.

depends. you can't really compare fallout 3 to ANY game. If you like being able to do almost whatever you want, and balance everything between good and evil, then this might be great for you.

it has a LOT of side quests, its just the bigger more main quests thats set aside of the main storyline, thats all for the achievements, but the game is huge and a hell of a lot of quests

In the states when someone says something is "gay" in a humorous tone its assumed that your calling it stupid. And is not putting down homosexuals in any way. There are much harsher words used.
Another thing, I never intended for this video to get so popular. It just kinda happened.

I'm from Europe. I'm in England. Over here we say things are gay and or people if somthing is stupid or w/e. We over use it to the point that theres only one insult that 12 year olds use here...
I dunno if you know this but europe is many diffrent contrys and has many diffrent cultures. Go to one part and women dont shave there arm pits. Go to another and they do. It's like saying people in south america are the same as north americans. Do you live in a jungle? Thought not.

Get Metal Gear Solid 4 because it is by far the best out of all those games you listed. The single player is a cinematic masterpiece (They're now making a feature film for it) and the online (MGO) is brilliant because it is a lot more interesting and tactical than the typical generic online game like COD4. The whole game uses a lot of tactical sneaking. It is my favourite game by far.

No you wouldn't, the story mode can take up to 20+ hours... i agree that side missions are their thing, but dont underestimate the story
