  • I was easyJet cabin crew (Luton based) for 3 years. Best no-frills airline in the world.

  • Cool! I totally agree with you =)

  • @philipmah Not according to Skytrax. They dont even rate it as the best low cost airline in Europe, let alone the world. I would post you the link but youtube doesnt allow it.

  • @philipmah Why did you left easyJet?

  • @martijntje16

Had an injury and couldn't pass the medical. Was a great job and miss flying.

  • @philipmah That must be really hard! I'm so sorry hearing that from you.

  • @martijntje16

These things happen sometimes - can't change it so just have to accept it. I really miss the cheap staff travel tickets though; used to go abroad at least once a month for a couple of days. Sometimes just went down to Barcelona or Palma for a day to do shopping and have lunch!

  • @philipmah Was the discount for crew much? Dutch carriers are expensive with crewtickets.

  • @martijntje16

Basically we just had to pay the tax - usually worked out about £30 for a return flight on most routes.

  • @philipmah That's a nice discount! Thanks for reply

  • Fantastic aviation vid as always . Loved IT

  • Thanks very much Gianluca! Glad you really liked it!

  • another quality video, i really liked the final bit were he says now remember if were late we have 20mins credit on you! i also like it when the pilot / co pilot talk and give you abit of info on whats going on, i have had a few easyet flights were i havent heard anything from them the whole flight!

i notice you are on the 'wing seats' alot of the time? is there a reason for this? less turbulance?

  • Thank you very much Scott! Yes, the announcement about the 20 mins credit is quite amusing - that's the Scottish humour coming through! I've also been on Easyjet flights where there has been no in-flight updates from the flight deck, which makes the flight a bit boring.

I try to sit past row 16 if I can as it gives a clearer view of the wing and makes for a more interesting view.

  • @craiglsimons Looking forward to your next flight.

  • You'll only have to wait about a week - off to Nice today =D

  • @craiglsimons Your so lucky, being able to fly all the time! Enjoy the flight! (If you use twitter? @djscottyb1)

  • Lol it's just luck! It happened to be business one week and relaxation the other week! I'm not on twitter, but I am on facebook. I'll definitely enjoy the flight! Thanks!
