Smh, I'm glad I know God for myself, because reading some of these comments would make me doubt my sincerity in learning and understanding the Trinity. I have this cd, and this is a fun, decent song, in the midst of edifying, glorifying and uplifting music.

I'd rather my 7 year old listen to this any day, than an edited version of a "Jeezy" song on a local radio station anyday. Actually, I am total agreement with doing everything I can do for the glory of God, but I also like listen to this song. On a very basic level it is music, yes we do need to guard our heart and be very careful what we sow in to our spirit but sometime it's ok to have fun... maybe, just maybe God will take pleasure in our happiness and not being overly concerned like the Pharisees, so I am not promoting lawlessness but we have to balance between that and being Pharasaic, let's love one another

If your goal is to bring glory to God in everything you do, then when someone comes on this page and see "Christians" openly disagreeing, how does that further the kingdom cause? Its funny to me when ppl say gospel artist don't always have to do songs that talk about Jesus. My question, is isn't he worthy of that? People that are just fine with listening to watered down christian music might want to check their spiritual appetite. Deep down what do you really desire? do you want 2 hear about Jesus. @keshealm What i believe Canton Jones is trying to put out there is positive ever song he writes don't have to always mention God deeply if he gets a listening ear they will listen to more of his songs therefore bring them closer to God. All his songs isnt for people who know God but those who dont to bring them to know God. I love Canton Jones and everything he does. @mrsaasia I understand what your saying and it makes perfect sense however is this the best way to win souls? The bible says if I be lifted up i will draw all men unto me. We have to remember the Spirit is the one that draws them. The spirit is the one that does all the work not us. We need to get back to using the word as a weapon. The word of God is the final say and it can't fail. We as people are suppose to either plant the seed or water the seed but the Spirit draws them.

I've heard him in interviews and he's very passionate about winning souls. I'm not questing his heart im questing is method. I'm not questing is motive but his method. We can have a right heart but still go about things in the wrong way.

@keshealm Good point but i been down the road and this being a new generation sometimes old methods are hard to follow. Sometime you have to do what appeals to the audience. Like, lets say I have never read the bible and I decide to go to church and listen to a precher preach if im not on that level of understanding i won't inderstand what he is really talking about but if i take in The Word in piece by piece and ask for understanding then i would be able to understand.

And to fellowship with those who doesnt know God and to fellowship with those who do know him. The church is like a hospital for sinners because if you are a Christian you already know God and you have a guide to live by.

God is about black and white,bring light to the dark, being hot not cold, and despises the luke warm. Therefore anything neutral is not for the kingdom for he plainly states thoese who do not gather with me scatter and if you are not for me you are against. Do you think they will know or even think about Christ through this song?
