hi, i belong no where really , born in london , grew up in leicester great city, then i done 20yrs in oxfordshire jesus it was like being in prison, then i remarried and moved to yorkshire. but my gran,grt gran and grt grt gran came from newcastle upon tyne , so i am trying to find out about life there AT THAT TIME so great vids .
my grt grandad died at work in ARMSTRONGS 1899, AND MY FAMILY LIVED ON HERBERT STREET, BUCKINGHAM STREET, AND MY GRAN TALKED ALOT ABOUT SCOTSWOOD ROAD .

Great song! Never been there! I am from the London but i've meet some great solid geordies here! Real People who will say "do you want a cup of tea" rather than the annoying southern "would you like a coffee"!
I have lived in Newcastle all my life (32 Years),,,and I know how much the area has improved over the last 20 years,,,But still,,,I thought the older pictures showed a nicer Newcastle,,,,Damm 70s architecture.....
