The story looks pretty awesome but the gameplay looks a little wonky and repetitive. Hopefully there are other aspects to the gameplay that we didn't see in this trailer that makes this game worthy of a complete playthrough.

i'm playing japanese version but i don't understand anything!! but still its really good, although i don't even know what the hijacking of bodies is even called. its tight though, the graphics are killer!! and the gameplay is pretty good, just you might want to set the camera to behind instead of normal, otherwise you have to get used to adjusting the camera on default. but still its one of my fave psp games to date!

Technicalyl yes, it is PE3, but apparently something about not being able to use the 'Parasite Eve' title anymore creeped up. The original PE was a novel in Japan, made into a movie, talking about a 'super baby'. Which is what Maeda was referring to in the first game, and the first game made into a sequel of the book.

Apparently the author doesn't want the name to be associated with the games anymore, and gave troubles to get PE released on PSN too.

They decided on PSP probably because it was easier to use the graphic engine already used in games like Crisis Core and Dissidia. While I aggree it would look better on PS3, no contest, I can't say I know every business decision when it comes to making money.

@tuberoako777 Maybe Eve died. Remember that a clone's life span is shortened due to the fact that the cells (in this case Aya's cells) can't rejuvenate. That's partly what happened to Solid Snake in MGS4. Big Boss' cells got old causing Snake to prematurely become an old man.
