  • Love you Paul even though you would probably be rude to me if I asked you for an autograph.

  • @indiabeer....he's actually one of the very best drummers in the world !!!!

  • was His P(f)aul's amp even on? lol

  • Wow! Takes me back. I love this man and his music. I just can't get enough of that sweet stuff, my little lady gets me high..

  • Man, Let Me Roll It sounds wonderful here.

  • This is the only live version of 1985 I ever heard.

  • BTW...thanks for posting this.

  • I know people come here for the artists depicted, but I want to give a shout out to Jools. Man he get's into an artist like no other person I have ever seen. I hope one day there is a Jool's Holland statue like the one of Freddie Mercury.

    He deserves it.

  • paul is nice and simple at times. jools must be really pissed off

  • My new fav

  • I wish Michael Jackson would've come on this show back in the 90's...damn that would've been amazing...

  • There are some friggin great acoustics in Jools Holland's studio where he films his show.

  • Paul could do it all the genres in music

  • My wife says that Jools Holand was part of Squeeze.......and yet know one knows who he is.....or ever was.......Squeeze was great....amd noone knows who this little gnat is....or was.....and you want to mock Paul McCartney..................

  • @smeghan1

  • The drummer's name is "Luckiest bastard on the face of the earth"!!

  • Paul is supr =)

  • Saruman!

  • this is sad

  • i woulda gave up my first born to be at that place to see this.

  • justin beaver saw this video and thumbed it down

  • .

    @mrgarcia500

    The Time Was 1973

    and

The Time Is Now,,,very well put there.

I cant believe how good they do this now, amazing.

Love the drummer also, very tight band.

  • 6:23 take a good look Costello , you're watching a legend in action.

  • So so fantastic. Paul still rocks. Such a great musican

  • Let Me Roll It: when that came out (73?) it really helped put all that "pretty love song" McCartney to bed, where it belonged. Plus i still think it was a message to John

    This version rocks btw.

  • And above all, I'm sure he definitely knows it, his chest voice has aged (and im sure he doesnt mind since he still wants to rock!!) but his head voice for those high notes is SPOT ON, buddy! Love him. Paul McCartney, the energizer bunny. <3

  • 2 Awesome songs

  • Great stuff. He has a f*ckin' kickass band. The only flaw is Paul's voice. Still pretty good for a 65 year old man. But there's a bobble, especially in his upper register. It's partly covered by the backup voices.

  • Paul seems really uncomfortable in this video. He totally doesn't want to be there.

  • Well it's quite understandable. He's about to turn 70 y o and he knows he will have some difficulty at some point. Playing to 100 thousand people make the mistakes disappear. I saw him in Brazil in 1990 and back then he was fit to perform for hours. I remember when the guy playing the keyboard missed ONE note on Penny Lane and he got really pissed off - threw his sweat towel hard towards the man. I noticed the missing note. He noticed the missing note. But the other 185.000 people didn't

  • hello paul McCartney you're the greatest artist of the earth and that the whole world is proud of you we are waiting here in BRAZIL, and I guarantee that you will not regret it, we love you, welcome to BRAZIL

  • I really wanted Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five to end with Band on the Run...

  • We are about the same age, I met Paul briefly in Nashville in 1997.

He last year expressed his appreciation for Susan Boyle. She has soared so

much in 18 months and her latest cuts just released are AMAZINGLY GOOD. I hope they do a duet aimed at the USA market.

I think another NEW silly love song as a duet would soar as her recordings now outsell his. Combine their fans and the attention would be HUGE internationally.

  • JOOLS HOLLAND A ROYALIST HAS-BEEN.NOT COOL!!!

  • This band rocks. They sound better and better. The best musicians Paul has ever had.

  • Paul and his band are so fantastic. I love 1985, thanks Paul and thanks for posting. Paul is awesome

  • awesome, as always!

    thanks for posting!

  • paul solo was so short. lol.

  • I saw him play at Foro Sol on May 27th. When he played "1985" I went nutters... what a GREAT song!!! :D

  • Really enjoyed this, Kathy!! Can't get better than Paul McCartney!!!

    Love him!!!! Luv, Kathy

  • Gotta love Sir Paul! The man is a LEGEND!

  • Just got the remastered special edition in the mail!!!! It is A-mazing! I can't stop listening to it. It's a great, great purchase!

And Paul in this video sounds as amazing as ever. His new deeper voice is brill. :D

  • He is still so handsome! =)

  • Can't wait to get the remastered CD! I've seen him perform these songs live, too. Unbelievably current! Paul you still got it, baby!

  • Still makes my heart all a-flutter! Two stellar performances of two Macca classics!

  • Paul McCartney is amazing! Have seen him in concert the last 2 years- once when he opened Citi stadium in NYC and then second row center in Charlotte. He is as good as I dreamed he would be X1000. PURE entertaining genius. Love, love, love him.

  • Amazing.

  • Chingón.

  • Was Paul a little bit upset for doing that interview? Or maybe the questions were silly?

  • @marcelcruzeiro He did look a bit upset...maybe he was nervous :)

  • @marcelcruzeiro maybe just a bad day or mood maybe...nerves, idk. SOmetimes in interviews he's off the wall and sometimes he's really quiet. It could be the atmosphere of the studio, maybe it's too formal? informal? Now I'm just ranting...

  • Respond to this video...Wait no! I totally forgot before I replied like 30 sec ago. He gets nervous a lot when preforming for small audiences, so yeah probably nerves.

  • @FirstmateRouge Yeah, that's possible...

  • Still cute as ever! I'll never forget when I saw him live a year ago. Best. Concert. Ever

  • Paul on the epic run.

  • Rock On,Rusty!

  • Yeahhhhhhhhhh!!!

  • That's one hell of a solo.

  • Great voice & nice sound of the band too!

  • his voice will never be aged.

  • My favourite BEATLE!!

  • @TheCanadian53 He hasn't been a Beatle for 40 years. La la la la life goes on..

  • @TheCanadian53 I actually like John better, but Paul's music is more palatiable

  • @TheCanadian53 George !

  • McCartney is Brilliant !!!!! who ever edited to visual and audio especially in 1985 should be shot though!

  • Thanks for sharing this! Loved the interview and Paul and the boys really ROCKED IT, once again! ( :

  • ♫♥McCartney♥♫

  • I envy to myself, that I live with this Genius and Legend at this time.

  • @Selenaul you're very silly!!

  • @Stube437, probably, you are very clever. I don't impose to you my opinion. And you cannot consider emotions silly. Sorry

  • @Selenaul Thanks for ditto 'ing' me! Haha good one! ;)

  • great thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Paul is THE BEST forever !

  • Paul is the master!

  • thanks for posting...cool!

  • god he's still got it. Love it x

  • Jools is a great interviewer. He keeps it real without a lot of static. I tip my hat to him.
