@tommyXBOX360 you can make almost any style a winning style in poker as long as you read your opponents tendencies well and balance your ranges. He's playing an aggressive player like Ziigmund who is prone to check raising flops with a wide range, and I guess Dwan is checking behind a lot of flops to counteract Ziigy's aggressive strategy when Dwan's hand is weak. This means he also has to check some strong hands behind, to balance his weak and strong hands, making him more unpredictable
@weefeatures If you balance your ranges and read your opponents tendencies you will automatically be playing a certain style according to the kind of player, the table dynamics and metagame, not every playing style works. Try playing very loose-passive, you are going to end up a big loser shortly. But I probably underestimated Dwan here, he's a pro and knows what he's doing. Although he does balance his range by checking behind strong hands as well as weak hands, it still causes to loose value in bluffing the pot away on the flop and it limits the amount of money you win with your big hands. But of course there's a big chance there's more to it I can't think of right know. I understand that. It just didn't feel right to me see Dwan play like that.
@tommyXBOX360 yeah that's true, playing loose passive is generally a losing style. It is strange to see Dwan playing this way, as when I've watched him online he seems more aggressive. I presume it's because it's against Ziigmund and they have a lot of history playing each other, so they probably have a lot of reasons behind their actions that no one but them know about.
tom makes strange raises on the turn that make no sense. He also checks to much on the flop(in position). I'm as much as suprised I am seeing how bad durrr is in plo then hes good in no limit holdem
@ichozenchip Checking behind on the flop is soo not good in plo because you want to build big pots in plo when you have it, you want people to pay for there draws or to pay you of with worse two pairs en like that. Also a cancels the bluff value you have bij c-betting in case your opponent has nothing. you can see the flaws of this play throughout his game. Maby he plays differecnt in other games but only considering this game, i dont like his plo game to much
@ichozenchip Yes I understand what you are trying to say, but it aint like dwan is varying from checking behind and c-betting is like he checking behind the big majority of the time. Its like fancy play becomes standerd play. But dwan aint that bad otherwise he would be winning so much money with plo. Btw i dont think i will be playing you soon since i havent been playing allot online. Went broke a time ago and was to bussy with school to make a rebuy

@ichozenchip i think its BIGTOMMOZ but im not quite sure because havent played on it for a long time ( no reason for since there no ftp or cash left on there ) and come on playing for playchips is just like playing your hamster. Not playing for money is always playing stupid people and if you dont its like theres no real motivation for winning.
