ermm.. it would be better if you showed that the woman is working to support her family + doing all the house chores. What I can interprete fr this short movie is that, she is a housewife who came back from buying grocery stuffs and doing house chores on weekend, where the husband is on his off day and relaxing.
PS: Oh ya, the loud sound derived fr chopping the meat is unreal as its impossible to cut meat in such manner using that small kitchen knife. Should have used bigger knife.

nice job! well done. I can definitely vouch for this situation as i have seen families, (yes even in highly developed countries) still stuck in the mentality that women should be a maid during the day and a whore at night. It's an apt reflection of the selected pple who are still in 'caveman age'
I find this video totally incorrect as far as a general tamil marriage is concerned. I have never come across any such situation in our community. I believe that it is highly exaggerated focusing ONLY on the negative sterotypes.These two dont even talk!!(that could be the intention of the creator but nevertheless this marriage has serious issues that need to be addressed and is definitely at risk!!

I do realise that this is from the perspective of the creator but your query of this being a 'typical' marriage or one at 'risk' coupled with the Title 'Manushi' did undeniably create a generalisation of the tamil community at large....or at atleast pose the question of this video depicting generalisation in the community.

i like the fact that the story line is very natural in the sense that it is probably something that's occuring in society today.
