Eldorado looks like he's wearing the Big Shows unitard...lolz they are both so cute!! I'm glad to hear he's happy with a wife, and that Pua is still happy with you!!

@Altraice Thank you. Pua is my baby and plays and snuggles with me. I miss Eldorado but he's got a wife of his own kind now that he totally adores so he's happy in his new home.
Do they actually fight or rather bother each other and also this is a really stupid question: can they actually open up their jaws or is it completely closed with the snout?
@dkurmanov Yeah they would really fight. Eldorado wanted to be friends but she would pull fist fulls of his hair out and they both got scratched. It turned out the two subspecies just don't mix.
@dkurmanov Oh and no they only have a tiny mouth opening on the end and lick things up to eat. They can do some damage with their big strong claws though if they want to.
@mlisaoverdrive Yeah she knocked her toy down. It really seems to be a subspecies issue so at best if we continue to force them to live together they might tolerate each other.
@mlisaoverdrive No they are the same species but different subspecies, it's about the same as saying they are different breeds so should be compatible but Pua thinks otherwise. So far others have found their "Blond" anteaters also rejecting the vested ones.
I think the only way you might be able to combine them successfully is to raise a blond with a vested from infant so it didn't know the difference.
O.O I think Anteaters are the most scariest animals (Well at least in my book) I don't know why they scare me -maybe it was kingdom hospital- >.<

I just love Pua's blonde coat. Every time I see a video of her it's like WOW.
I've been without sound for awhile and now see what you mean by "hiss." I haven't heard that from any of mine "yet" (*LOL*)

@CarnalContessa Yeah a long hiss out then the "growl" in an inhale that often follows the hiss but is by it's self sometimes too. It sounds deeper.
Then she does a rattling hiss when sad or generally upset about something, that's "crying"
