Religion does not equal "belief system" you troll. Look it up.

Atheism requires no faith, no blind belief. Since there is not one single shred of true evidence FOR, no faith is required to know that god is a lie.

@TheMonk72 the universe though and the universe is INFINITELY times more complex than your lil computer. atheist is a religious worldview in the sense that it takes faith to believe theres no God. you cant know that for a 110% fact because you dont have infinite knowledge of the universe and theres not a single shred of evidence for atheism except what has been proven to be frauds and hoaxes. theres more evidence supporting creationism than darwinism so we require less knowledge than yall do

The examples you've given were hoaxes and misunderstandings revealed by science to be false, and none of your examples are critical foundations for Evolution. As I stated, if enough evidence for the existence of god were available, then I would have to believe. I am pretty sure that would be the position of any atheist. Despite the fact that I was taught to pray at school, I was not really raised as a christian, so was not told to believe and ask no questions. Asking questions is how we learn.

So here is my question to you. Why do you believe in god? What evidence has persuaded you?

Agnostic and atheist are not mutually exclusive positions. It's not one or the other.

I do not believe in god therefore I am and atheist.

Although it would be impossible to prove there is/was not god, I do not live my life in the hope that there is. Sounds like a pretty nasty character.

Atheism may be a religious world view, but that is a different thing from a religion. I think that religion stunts the progress of Man, and that too is a religious world view, but not a religion.

Atheism is not a religion, or a set of beliefs. You do not understand atheism.

I am an atheist, but if you ask me how the universe was formed I would say "I don't know". If you are honest you should say the same thing.

I will wait until there is enough evidence to persuade me in one direction before I can say that I believe in it. My beliefs may be different from other atheists because the only thing we have in common is a lack of belief in god. We have no doctrines, or shared dogma.

@paulpizzey1973 so basically youre an AGNOSTIC then bcuz you admit that you dont know but youre open to follow wherever the evidence leads you though. Atheism IS a religious worldview because they have to BELIEVE that there is no God...there is absolutely NO way for them to KNOW there is no God.
