Brandon Spikes has exceeded my expectations. I remember him as a freshman playing backup linebacker for Siler and company for the 06 championship team. I expected him to have a good career but he has surpassed that and became a great player and arguably the best linebacker in the country. Im glad he came back for his senior season to lead the gator defense once again to hopefully another championship run

USC, Texas to start off. Utah because they were undefeated and even Penn St because they lost in the final seconds on the road. Any of those teams are a valid selection and have arguments to play for the NC last year. You know it's right too

Once Tebow is gone hopefully the playing field of picking favorites is evened out but If UF has an early loss this year chances are they will still go to the NC. It's a damn shame but UF knows how to market mr religion very well.

I say we just allow college coaches and NFL personnel, people who know football, decide who's the best teams. I know they would have chosen USC over UF. Or just have a playoff system so the winners can earn the championship and not have it gift wrapped like Tebow has it.

Spikes is a good 'backer, but he got nothing on Cushing or Maualuga. He is a "middle-of-the-pack" defender at the position, with Laurinitus. Herzlich will be a second day draft choice. He is not the freak of nature the aforementioned 'backers are physically and that's going to cost him in the draft.
