Please help me, i have this phone, when i connect it via WiFi to the internet and launch a internet required app, it sends me to the internet settings, what should i do? Im connected via WiFi, that internet settings screen shouldnt appear! and its the same thing with every internet required application!

yer i know what you mean i hate that, i have it on orange and its normal no network software apart from orange maps (which is orange sat nav) apart from that its normal!

@alexw2550 Could i ask what Network you are on? Alot of networks put custom software on their phones, for example O2 remove Googlemaps and Youtube on this phone for some reason. To unlock these features and to remove the networks custom software you will need to get it "Unbranded".

why isn't my wep key not fitting on the wifi connection....only piece of the key is fitting and the internet is not working...but the phone is saying its connected to the network its my home network...can you help???

you seem to know alot about this phone..i was just wonderin if you know how to change the settings of the messages because when i go to send a message it pops up with MMS, i dont want that i just want simple sms.. and it doesnt give me the option to change it, would you know how to change this mate?

i just got a w995 today for christmas and i'm having a bit of trouble with the wi-fi. i've connected it to my home network and it works for playnow, and also internet. but, if i use the youtube or facebook application it seems to revert to the internet settings page and says "connect using:"

do you know what the problem could be?

yer it does and i have to admit its pretty decent for a mobile phone. you can have it for 1min, sos, on and off. hope this helps!

I just got my w995 today, and couldn't use wifi to use the application, althou wifi is already connected. It was fine browing the web, but whenever I try to use it for application, this thing pop up, and ask me to add internet (to choose from PS data or CS data). could you help?

wifi is quicker than using the internet direct on t-mobile anyway, and the bbc iplayer will only work wifi for me, a message pops up when its about to play direct from internet and says 'please switch to wifi to play this programme', you tube plays fine though

yer its on orange contract. thankfuly there isnt any stupid orange software like the old sony ericssons. so the phone hasnt got any problems. its an amazing phone highly recommend it especially on orange now!
