So, Bill reduces the amount the DNR could receive for recovering the costs of a review. It reduces the amount local communities can receive for having their environments raped, and the bill exempts the mining from flood plain rules invalidating about 18,000 insurance policies in the area. Real nice for someone, but not the local folks or Wisconsin taxpayers.

I live 30 miles from this mine. I also have 5 grandkids all under the age of 8 who live here also. Can it be guaranteed that their water and air will be protected? I have no illusions that our Koch whore of a Govenor gives a crap about any of us. There isn't one job in this world that is worth the health of my grandkids.
