would you have to zero the scope at different distances for optimal accuracy at those distances?

Make shr your cheek and chin ar in the same place every tine you shoot if there not it will mess up your centerpoint of aim. At least that's the way in works with centerfire guns. I hate airsoft i have a 7mm-08 140grain bolt action centerfire rifle.

all you have to do to site in a scope is

mount the rifle in a clap of some kind so it can't move, put the cross hairs on the center of the target, shoot once, then without moving the target or rifle, adjust the scope so the cross hairs are on the hole you just shot, then move the rifle sites to the center of the target and shoot again and repeat if its not dead nuts.

@gdm991 I think it depends how accurate your rifle/ammo combo is, if you're shooting all over the place trying to sight your gun, I would try shooting a good size group then follow your method to find the middle of your grouping. good luck guys.

hop up doesn't make it go up like that. it makes an arc allowing for longer distance. still accurate at a certain point

hop up is good at a certain point. cybergun is low quality it might be accurate but not made of good parts. obviously you know nothing of airsoft. Heavy bbs go farther and more accurate. never use .12 . .2 is okay you should use .25+ for best accuracy also they don't ruin your gun

Wait I got really confused on zeroing my scope after watching 5:20 your grouping was slightly to the right, so you said you need to move the sights a little to the left, dont you move the reticles towards the bullets not away? (your grouping was right of the target, you turned the knob clockwise to move the reticles left of the target wouldnt that make the groupings move more to the right) ?

I suggest you a Centerpoint scope. They are awsome, low price, red and green and the windage and elevation you can adjusted with your fingers. Plus is with numbers, once you get your perfect grouping, just write down the windage and elevation numbers and thats all.

or you could put it on a stand so the gun wont move, fire, then use the windage and elevation until the crosshairs on the scope are on the shot, finally move the gun back to the center and it should hit perfectlly. if not repeat process

You should try to use a little bit of hop up. I'm somewhere around a medium amount of hop up and it's way better than minimum hop up.

The bb's only have a minimum of upcurve and it gave me about 10m more range!

If I shot low on my target, keep the gun still, like a gun mount of bipod, and tune it there... tune it so that you line up the cross-hairs with the shot placement... meaning, the barrel stays in the same but the scope goes down to your shot group and when you move the cross-hairs up, you move the barrel up with it. repeat and repeat till sighted. Plus, work on your trigger pull and keeping it steady like putting your elbows against something.
