NIce, but I would have really liked to see the actual editing, how it's done in the software. I think most people know how to use a camcorder. It's the editing that can get confusing.

You can be making the same quality for far less then $1000

You're right, you probably could get similar quality for a lower price. For example, if you are doing a relatively simple video, you may not need to buy any editing software at all. And, you can find HD cameras for much less than what I mentioned in the video. The important takeaway is that video is becoming much more affordable, and we encourage anyone to not worry so much about getting the best equipment, but rather find something interesting to talk about or show, and give it a try!
