This is caused by the city of knoxville they kick people out of there homes and the fucking police and I use that name losely call them fucking pigs harrass the hell out of homeless.
hmm. As a person who has been homeless in Knoxville, I know well who provides real help and who provided a poor meal and a bed with a thin blanket. I know who has staff that works hard to provide housing and help clients stand on their own two feet and who tells their female clients that all they need is a man to take care of them. The Plan as stated here is a good one. It works. But by getting someone off the streets you change their lives.
@EMMead2000 Personally, I have nothing worthy of boasting which I have not received from God. The Apostles themselves were homeless!
That being said, this is a complicated issue. I've lived in Knoxville for five years, all of which was on campus or downtown. As of late, my fiance and I encounter roughly ten homeless people per week. We always refuse to give cash, but offer to buy them a meal. Only one or two actually accept our offer of food out of the dozens who approach us every month.
