@MegaG58tehfirst I split anime into two types: fantasy and real-life. English dubs of fantasy anime are fine, because they aren't supposed to be Japanese. But English dubs of real-life anime like K-on just don't work, because the characters are from Japan, they speak Japanese, they make Japanese cultural references, and then there's the oh so popular "let's try to speak some gratuitous English" scenes ("Where very delicious cake shop?" is my favorite!)
